The conduct of special shows shall be subject to the

following conditions:

(i) Every person employed shall be paid overtime

wages for the period of work done by him in excess

of 8 hours in a day or 48 hours in a week.

(ii) The person employed shall be given rest interval

of at least half-an-hour for every four hours of work.

(iii) The Management should obtain permission

from the authorities concerned, wherever necessary.

(iv) In case, the said screening of the new films

does not take place, this notification shall have no

effect.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rates per kilogram

(excluding GST) are invited for the sale of old newspapers

(Tamil and English), magazines and duplicating papers

belonging to the Kanchi Mamunivar Centre for Postgraduate

Studies, Puducherry.

2. The approximate quantity of the old newspapers,

magazines and duplicating papers is furnished below;

3. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Director, Kanchi Mamunivar Centre for Postgraduate

Studies, Lawspet, Puducherry-605 008 duly superscribing

on the envelope as “Tender for the purchase of

old newspaper, magazines and duplicating papers”.

The sealed tenders will be received by the office up to

11.00 a.m. on 15-7-2019. The tender will be opened at

12.00 noon on the same day by the undersigned.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 100 (Rupees one hundred only) as earnest money

deposit.

5. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded immediately after the tender

sale is over.

6. Tenders received after the due date and time will

be rejected.

7. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tenders without assigning any reasons

thereof.

8. The successful tender should remit the full amount

immediately and clear the items with in 24 hours at his

own risk and cost, failing which, his earnest money

deposit will be forfeited.

9. No claim on the quantity and quality of the articles

will be admitted once the tender is finalised.

10. GST at the rate applicable will be charged.

11. The intending tenderers can inspect the articles

during the office hours in the stores of this Centre.

12. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

Director, Kanchi Mamunivar Centre for Postgraduate

Studies, Puducherry, will be the final.
