and, dues of unpaid EPF Contribtions for ` 36,18,114

and dues for retrenchment compensation totally for

a sum of ` 42,46,488 and dues for the gratuity

amount ` 42,46,488 is justified and the petitioner is

entitled for the claim as prayed and as such the petition

is deserves to be allowed.

In the result, this Industrial Dispute (Tribunal)

Petition is Allowed and directing the respondent to pay

arrears of monthly wages, arrears of over-time wages,

arrears of bonus amount dues, unpaid E.P.F.

contributions amount, retrenchment compensation

amount, Gratuity amount, to the employees as the

financial dues. Dues of monthly wages from 10-10-2014

to June 2017 and totally for a sum of ` 60,19,721 and

dues of over-time allowances pending to be paid for the

month of October 2013 and November 2013 for a sum

of ` 3,68,000 and dues of bonus amount pending to be

paid for ` 2,18,500 for the month of 2013-2014 and

2014-2015 and amount dues of unpaid E.P.F.

contributions for `36,18,114 and amount dues for

retrenchment compensation totally for a sum of

` 4 2 ,4 6 , 4 8 8 a nd d u e s fo r t he g ra tu it y a mo un t

` 42,46,488 is justified. lt is hereby directed to pay the

above amount to the petitioner/workers/employees

within three months from the date of the Award.The

parties are directed to bear their respective cost of the

petition.

ORDER

The Ministry of Women and Child Development

(MWCD) had formulated a Scheme “One Stop Centre”

(OSC) to address the issues of women/girl children

affected by any form of violence. The Centre will provide

a range of services under one roof to the affected

women. The range of services include transportation,

medical assistance, shelter, facilitation in dealing with

Police, legal aid and psycho-social support/counselling.

2. In order to implement the Scheme “One Stop

Centre” (OSC) in the Union territory of Puducherry, the

NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the management of (i) M/s. Raja Talkies

No. 246, Anna Salai, Puducherry, (ii) M/s.Ashok Theatre,

Villianur, Puducherry, have applied for grant of

exemption from certain provisions of the Puducherry

Shops and Establishments Act, 1964 to conduct special

morning shows on account of screening new films;

And whereas, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry,

has by Notification in G.O. Ms. No. 9/95/Lab., dated

07-04-1995 under sub-section (1) of section 52 of the

Puducherry Shops and Establishments Act, 1964,

authorized the Secretary to Government, Labour

Department, Puducherry, to exercise the powers of the

Government under section 6 of the said Act, relating to

grant of exemption;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred

by section 6 of the said Act, the Secretary to Government,

Labour Department, Puducherry, hereby exempts

the aforesaid theatres from the provisions of the

section 16(1), 17(1), 17(2) and 18 of the Puducherry

Shops and Establishments Act, 1964 for conducting

special morning shows as detailed below:

The conduct of special shows shall be subject to the

following conditions:

(i) Every person employed shall be paid over-time

wages for the period of work done by him in excess

of 8 hours in a day or 48 hours in a week.

(ii) The person employed shall be given rest

interval of at least half-an-hour for every four hours

of work.

(iii) The management should obtain permission

from the authorities concerned wherever necessary.

(iv) In case, the said screening of the new film

does not take place, this notification shall have no

effect.

NOTIFICATION

In continuation of the G.O. Ms. No. 19/Fy. dated 30-10-2015 of the Chief Secretariat (Fisheries), Puducherry,

the tentative seniority list of Deputy Directors of Fisheries for Seniority Nos. 24 to 28 was circulated to all concerned

vide this Secretariat's Memorandum No. 78420/US(FY.)/2005, dated 06-05-2019 of the Chief Secretariat (Fisheries),

Puducherry, calling for objections, if any and informing them that if no objections were received, their Seniority

would be fixed as indicated in the Memorandum. Whereas, no objections to the ranking of the seniority have been

received from the concerned officials.
