NOTIFICATION

The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to

declare 11th September, 2019 (Wednesday) as Local

Holiday to all the Government Offices and Educational

Institutions in the Puducherry/Karaikal and Yanam

regions on account of ‘Muharram Festival’ which was

earlier declared as Restricted Holiday on 10th September,

2019 vide G.O.Ms.No.70, dated 25-10-2018 of Home

Department, Puducherry and in lieu thereof 14th

September, 2019 (Saturday) will be a working day in the

Puducherry/Karaikal and Yanam regions. This leave is

NOT covered under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

2. The 11th September, 2019 had already been

declared as a Public Holiday for Mahe region on account

of Onam 2nd day festival vide G.O.Ms.No.70, dated

25-10-2018 of Home Department, Puducherry. Hence, no

separate order is issued for Mahe region.

2. Copies of the tender schedules with terms and

conditions can be had from this office on payment of

` 118 (Rupees one hundred and eighteen only) inclusive

of GST (non-refundable) in person by cash or can be

downloaded from this Department’s website https://

agri.py.gov.in cost of the tender schedule so

downloaded should be sent along with the sealed tender

by a separate Demand Draft drawn in the favour of “The

TENDER-CUM-PUBLIC AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned from

the

authorised

collection

centre(s)/registered

dismantler(s) recyclers as per the E-waste (Management)

Rules, 2016 of Government of India towards the disposal

of unserviceable Electronics items (e-waste) belong to

this Department of Women and Child Development,

Puducherry will be disposed off in as-is-where-is

condition.

2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Director, Department of Women and Child Development,

New Saram, Puducherry-605 013 duly superscribing on

the envelope as “Tender for the purchase of

unserviceable electronics articles” and it should reach

this office on or before 23-9-2019 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders

will be opened at 4.00 p.m. on the same day in the

presence of the tenderers who are present. The auction

will be conducted from the highest rate quoted.

3. The intending tenderers can inspect the above

articles in this Directorate during office hours on any

working days but, on or before the auction date with

the prior permission of the undersigned.

4. The tender will be awarded to the highest bidder

on the spot. The tender quoted should be as per items

basis and not on weight basis.

5. Along with the tenders, a copy of any of the

following self attested documents should be submitted

by the tenderers:

(a) Valid Family Ration Card/Smart Card.

(b) Valid GST Certificate.

6. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of

` 200 (Rupees two hundered only) as an earnest money

deposit to the Cashier, Department of Women and Child

Development, Puducherry before submitting their

tender. Without earnest money deposit, the tender will

summarily be rejected.

7. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be returned immediately after the tender

sale is over, whereas, the earnest money deposit of the

successful bidder will be returned after the official

process is completed in all respects.

8. GST will be charged extra as per the rate applicable

at the time of tender/auction sale.

9. No claim on the quantity or quality of the articles

will be admitted once the tender/auction sale is over.

10. The tenders offered after the due date and time

will be rejected.

11. If, any/all participant(s) misbehave during the

tender/auction process, the tenderer(s) will be removed

from the place of auction, also his/her/their tender(s)

will be rejected and the earnest money deposit will be

forfeited.

12. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all the tenders without assigning any

reason thereof. If, the tender date falls on holiday the

tender sale will be held on the next working day.

13. Tender/auction sale is subject to the discretion

of the undersigned whose decision will be the final in

case of any dispute arises in this regard.
