vacancies of Group-‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) and Group-‘C’
Technical posts in Health Department henceforth shall
be as follows:
1. The Technical Posts which are to be filled up
on Direct Recruitment basis as per the Recruitment
Rules of the relevant posts shall be filled up only
through Written Competitive Examination.
2. The posts carrying Educational/Technical
qualification as per Recruitment Rules, which does
not require any experience shall be filled up 100%
through Open Competitive Examination.
3. The post carrying Educational/Technical
qualification as per Recruitment Rules and requiring
experience shall be filled up by giving 90%
weightage marks for Open Competitive Examination
and 10% weightage marks for practical examination.
Accordingly, approval of the Lieutenant-Governor is
accorded for the adoption of the above methodology
for filling up of the Group-‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) and
Group-‘C’ posts by Direct Recruitment in Health
Department, Government of Puducherry.
The Written Competitive Examination shall be
conducted by the Examination Cell of Department of
Personnel and Administrative Reforms.

Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram are
invited for the sale of Tamil and English old newspapers
belonging to this Office.

Terms and conditions
1. The tenders in sealed cover superscribed as
“Tender for the purchase of old newspapers” and
addressed to the Additional Director of Agriculture
(T&V), Thattanchavdy, Puducherry-605 009, should
reach this office before 12.30 p.m. on or before
10-10-2019. The tenders received after the due date and
time will summarily be rejected. The tenders will be
opened on the same day at 4.00 p.m. in the presence of
all the tenderers.
2. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount
of ` 200 (Rupees two hundred only) in cash as earnest
money deposit before participating in the tender sale
and the same will be refunded to the unsuccessful
tenderers immediately after the tender sale is over.

3. The intending tenderers may inspect the old
newspapers during office hours on any working day
after 3-10-2019 with the permission of the undersigned.
4. No claim on the quality and quantity of the
newspapers will be admitted once the tender is finalized.
5. The successful tenderer should arrange to weigh
the old newspapers and pay the cost and GST
applicable immediately and remove the old newspapers
within 24 hours at his own expenses from the office
premises, failing which the earnest money deposit will
be forfeited in full.
6. The undersigned reserves the right either to accept
or reject all tenders or to postpone the tender without
assigning any reasons thereof.
7. In case of any dispute, the decision of the
undersigned will be the final and binding.

TENDER-CUM- PUBLIC AUCTION NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of unserviceable/
damaged Furniture items, Dead stock and Sports articles
of the following Main and Mini Bal Bhavans under the
control of the Deputy Director (Elementary Education).
(1) Jawahar Bal Bhavan, Puducherry.
(2) Jawahar Mini Bal Bhavan, Thiruvandarkovil,
Puducherry.
(3) Jawahar Mini Bal Bhavan, Kalapet, Puducherry.
(4) Jawahar Mini Bal Bhavan, Villianur, Puducherry.
(5) Jawahar Mini Bal Bhavan, Kariyamanickam,
Puducherry.
(6) Jawahar Mini Bal Bhavan, Ariyankuppam,
Puducherry.
(7) Jawahar Mini Bal Bhavan, Lawspet, Puducherry.
(8) Jawahar Mini Bal Bhavan, Bahour, Puducherry.
1. The tenders in plain paper should be sealed and
addressed to Office of the Headmaster, Jawahar Bal
Bhavan, Puducherry duly superscribing on the envelope
as “Tender for the purchase of old condemned items and
unserviceable articles” and to reach the undersigned on
or before 3.30 p.m. 30-09-2019 at 3.30 p.m. The tenders
will be opened on the same day at 4.30 p.m. in the
chamber of Headmaster, Jawahar Bal Bhavan,
Puducherry, in the presence of the tenderers those who
are present, vocal auction will be conducted from the
highest rate quoted.
2. The items are offered purely on ‘as-is-where-is’
basis. Pick and choose method of collection is strictly
prohibited.
3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount
of ` 3,000 (Rupees three thousand only) as earnest
money deposit at the time of submitting the tender. The
earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers
will be returned immediately after the tender/auction
sole is over/finalised.
4. Tenders received after the due date and time will
summarily be rejected. If, the scheduled date happens to
be a public holiday, the same will be received and
finalised on the next working day.
5. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all the tenders without assigning any
reason thereof.
6. The successful tenderer should pay the full
amount immediately and clear the items within 24 hours
at his own risk and cost, failing which the earnest
money deposit will be forfeited.
7. The intending tenderers may inspect the
old condemned items and unserviceable articles during
office hours on 26-09-2019 and 27-09-2019 with the
permission of the undersigned between 10.00 a.m. and
5.00 p.m. in the Jawahar Bal Bhavan, Puducherry.
8. No claim on the quantity and quality of the
articles will be admitted once the tender/auction sale is
finalised.
9. GST at the rate applicable will be charged and
collected. Tenderers/Bidders with registered GST
Certificate only will be allowed to participate in the
tender/auction process.
10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the
undersigned will be the final.
11. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all the tenders without assigning any
reason thereof.

INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
The AFD Project Unit, Public Works Department,
Puducherry, Government of Puducherry, invites
Expression of Interest (EoI) from Consulting firms for
shortlisting in respect of the Selection of Long term
Technical Assistance for supporting the AFD Project
Unit, Public Works Department in charge of the project
“Augmentation of water supply sources and
rehabilitation of system in urban area in Pondicherry
District, Puducherry, (Phase-I)” and support to the
Public Works Department, Puducherry, for the
improvement of the overall performance of the water
service under the financial assistance from Agence
Française de Développement (AFD).
1. Expression of Interest with all enclosures,
including its scanned PDF copy needs to be submitted
to The Executive Engineer, AFD Project Unit, Public
Works Department, Subash Chandra Bose Street, 1st floor
(Computer Design Centre), Public Works Department
Complex, Puducherry-605 001, on or before 9th October,
2019 at 4.00 p.m. Late submissions will summarily be
rejected. The Expression of Interest should be submitted
in a sealed envelope superscribed as ‘EoI for Long term
Technical Assistance Consultant’.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram are
invited from the local bidders for the sale of the following
old items belonging to the Police Department,
Puducherry for the period from 01-01-2019 to 30-09-2019.

2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the
Superintendent of Police (HQ.), Puducherry-605 001,
duly superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for the
purchase of old newspapers and magazines” and reach
the undersigned on or before 4.00 p.m. on 03-10-2019.
The tenders will be opened at 5.00 p.m. on the same day
in the presence of the tenderers present at the office of
the undersigned.
3. If necessary, the auction will be conducted among
the tenderers to fix the highest rate.
4. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount
of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as earnest money
deposit. Tenderers should submit a copy of the Aadhaar
Card as identity and address proof along with GST
particulars.
5. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful
tenderers will be refunded immediately soon after the
tender/auction sale is over. Tenderers should produce valid
Identity proof for returning their earnest money deposit
amount.
6. Tender(s) received after the due date and time will
be rejected.
7. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all the tenders without assigning any
reason thereof.
8. The successful tenderer should pay the full
amount immediately as and when call made clear the
old items within 24 hours at his own risk and cost,
failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
9. The intending tenderers should bring electronic
weighing machine for the weighment, other equipment
not allowed.

10. No claim on the quantity and quality for the
articles will be admitted once the tender is finalized.
11. The intending tenderers can inspect the articles
during office hours in the Chief Stores, Police
Department, Gorimedu premises.
12. In case of any dispute, the decision of the
undersigned will be the final.
13. A separate rate must be quoted on each items.
14. The highest bid rate will be valid for 01 (one)
year from the date of issue of the acceptance letter by
the undersigned.
15. GST will be collected on the sale of old
newspapers and magazines as per the rates prevailing
at the time of disposal/sale. Bidders with registered
Goods and Service Tax (GST) only must participate in
the tender/auction sale.
