Puducherry, the 19th September 2019.

TENDER-CUM-PUBLIC AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed quotations are invited for the disposal of the

following items available in all Government Middle

Schools and Government High Schools under the

control of the Deputy Director of Education (Women),

Puducherry.

Rate per

(1) Old Tamil newspapers

(4) Exam answer sheets

(5) Waste scrap materials-Plastic. . `

(6) Waste scrap materials-Metal . . `

2. The quotation in plain paper should be sealed and

addressed to the Deputy Director of Education

(Women), Directorate of School Education, Puducherry

duly superscribing on the envelope as “Quotation for

purchase of old newspapers” sent to this office on or

before 11-10-2019 at 3.00 p.m. The quotation will be

opened on the same day at 4.00 p.m. in the presence of

the tenderers who are present. Vocal auction will be

conducted from the highest rate quoted in the quotation

for each item.

3. The intending tenderer should deposit an amount

of

` 3,000 (Rupees three thousand only) as earnest

money deposit. The earnest money deposit of

unsuccessful tenderers will be returned on the same day

after tender/auction sale is over.

4. Quotation received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected.

5. The intending tenderers may inspect the old newspaper

items and other scrap materials available in all

Government Middle Schools (16

Schools) and

Government High Schools (18 Schools) under the

control of the Deputy Director of Education (Women),

Puducherry, during school hours with the permission

of the concern Headmaster/Headmistress on 9-10-2019

and 10-10-2019.

6. The successful tenderer(s) should pay the entire

amount and clear the items from the respective Schools

at his/their own risk and cost within one week from the

date of finalization of tender/auction, failing which the

earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

7. No claim on the quality of the newspapers and

scrap materials will be admitted once the tender/auction

sale is finalized.

8. Applicable rate of GST will be charged. The GST

amount should be remitted by the successful tenderer

through their GST number. Hence, only the tenderer

possessing the GST Registration Certification will be

allowed to participate in the tender/auction process.

9. The undersigned has reserves the right to accept

or reject any or all the quotation without assigning any

reason thereof. In case of any dispute, the decision of

the undersigned will be the final.
