NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 5 of the
Puducherry Excise Act, 1970 (No. 12 of 1970), the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry,
is hereby pleased to appoint the following Officers as Excise Inspectors for the
whole of the Puducherry region to exercise the powers and perform the duties of
the Excise Inspectors under the said Act with effect from the date of issue of this
Notification and up to the date of completion of election process in connection with
the Bye-Election to No. 10-Kamaraj Nagar Assembly Constituency of the Puducherry
Legislative Assembly, namely:-
