ORDER
Whereas, an order was made vide reference cited,
directing the winding up of the affairs of the Pondicherry
Co-operative Handloom Export Development Project
Staff Co-operative Cerdit Society Limited, No. P.570 (for
brevity “the Society”) for which a Liquidator is to be
appointed to carry out the legal formalities for the
cancellation of registration of the Society under section
129 of the said Act;
2. And whereas, the Society is not indebted to the
financing Bank, viz., Pondicherry State Co-operative
Bank Limited and hence, it is decided not to consult the
financing Bank before appointing a Liquidator
eventhough it is required under sub-section (1) of
section 127 of the Puducherry Co-operative Societies
Act, 1972;
3. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred
on me under sub-section (1) of section 127 of the
Puducherry Co-operative Societies Act, 1972, read with
clause (a) of rule 66 of the Puducherry Co-operative
Societies Rules, 1973, I, hereby appoint Thiru
K. Dhanabalan, Co-operative Officer as the Liquidator of
the Pondicherry Co-operative Handloom Export
Development Project Staff Co-operative Credit Society
Limited, No. P. 570 with immediate effect.
4. The President of the Society, is directed to
handover the charges of the Society to the said
Liquidator. Charges of the Society handed over and
taken over shall be informed to this office.
5. On taking over of charges of the Society, the
Liquidator shall arrange to discharge the liabilities of the
Society, as early as possible, either in full or in
proportionate, as the case may be, subject to funds
receivable from the realizable assets of the Society.
On completion of the liquidation process, the Liquidator
shall submit a report to the undersigned to make an
order for the concellation of registration of the Society
under section 129 of the said Act.

of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act 14 of
1947) and on the recommendations of the Hon’ble High
Court of Judicature at Madras, the Lieutenant-Governor,
Puducherry, is pleased to appoint Thiru V. Pandiaraj,
District Judge as the Presiding Officer of the Industrial
Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Puducherry for the whole
of the Union territory of Puducherry with effect from
the 10th day of July 2019 for the purposes of the
said Act.
2. The notification shall be deemed to have come
into force with effect from 10th day of July, 2019.

KARAIKAL MUNICIPALITY, KARAIKAL
Karaikal, dated the 24th September 2019.
NOTIFICATION
The ponds, which have been described in the Annexure to this Notification are owned and controlled by
the Karaikal Municipality and exclusive right of leasing is vested with the Karaikal Municipality. Other tank/pond,
if any, left out in the list and stand registered in the name of temple/individuals are deemed to be owned by the
Karaikal Municipality. Any desilting/removal of silt work in the ponds owned by the Local Body Institutions to be
undertaken only after getting due approval from the Sub/Deputy Collector (Revenue), Karaikal, on remitting
prescribed Royalty Fee and with the consent of the Karaikal Municipality. The work will be supervised by the
Commissioner concerned or his representative. The silt shall be removed by the applicant at his own cost and no
damage shall be caused to the pond or to the capacity of the water body during the silt removal and that the applicant
shall compensate for the damages, if, it so happens.
