TENDER-CUM-PUBLIC AUCTION NOTICE

Public are hereby informed that the sealed tenders

offering the rate per kilogram is invited for the sale of

old library books (Tamil and English) pertaining to

Jawahar Bal Bhavan, Botanical Garden, Puducherry,

under the control of the Deputy Director (Elementary

Education) to be disposed off by tender-cum-public

auction on 29-10-2019 at 4.00 p.m.

Terms and Conditions

1. The tenders in plain paper should be in sealed

cover and addressed to the Office of the Headmaster,

Jawahar Bal Bhavan, Puducherry, duly superscribed on

the envelope as “Tender for the purchase of old library

books (Tamil and English)” should reach the

undersigned on or before 29-10-2019 at 3.00 p.m. The

tenders will be opened on the same day at 4.00 p.m. in

the chamber of Headmaster, Jawhar Bal Bhavan,

Puducherry, in the presence of the tenderers who are

present and vocal auction will be conducted from the

highest rate.

2. The items are offered purely on ‘as-is-where-is’

basis. Pick and choose method of collection is strictly

prohibited.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) as earnest money

deposit at the time of submitting the tender. The earnest

money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be

returned immediately after the tender/auction sale is

over/finalised.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected. If, the scheduled date happens

to be a public holiday, the same will be received and

finalised on the next working day.

5. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all the tenders without assigning any

reason thereof.

6. The successful tenderer should pay the full

amount immediately and clear the items within 24 hours

at his own risk and cost, failing which the earnest

money deposit will be forfeited.

7. The intending tenderers may inspect the old

library books during office hours on 28-10-2019 with the

permission of the undersigned between 10.00 a.m. and

5.00 p.m. in the Jawahar Bal Bhavan, Botanical Garden,

Puducherry.

8. No claim on the quantity and quality of the

articles will be admitted once the tender/auction sale is

completed.

9. The successful tenderer should make his own

arrangements to weigh the old library books subject to

the satisfaction of the undersigned in regard to

weighment.

10. GST at the rate applicable will be charged and

collected. Only the tenderers/bidders with registered

GST Certificate will be allowed to participate in the

tender/auction process.

11. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

12. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all the tenders without assigning any

reason thereof.

Puducherry, the 14th October 2019.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram are

invited for (sale/clearing) from the local bidders for the

following old items belonging old items belonging to

the Office of the Council of Ministers, Puducherry.

2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

“Senior Accounts Officer, Office of the Council of

Ministers, Puducherry” duly superscribing on the

envelope as “Tender for purchase of old newspapers,

magazines and waste papers” and to reach the

undersigned on or before 30-10-2019 at 12.00 noon. The

tenders will be opend at 4.00 p.m. on the same day in

the presence of the tenderers those who are present in

the chamber of the undersigned at Office of the Council

of Ministers, Puduc2herry.

3. If necessary, the public auction will be conducted

among the tenderers to fix the highest rate.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as earnest

money deposit. Tenderers should submit a copy of any

identity and address proof along with GST particulars.

5. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded immediately, soon after the

tender/auction sale is over. Tenderers should produce

valid identity proof to get refund of their earnest money

deposit amount.

6. Tender(s) received after the due date and time will

be rejected.

7. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all the tenders without assigning any

reason thereof.

8. The successful tenderer should pay the full

amount immediately as and when a call is made and clear

the old items within 24 hours at his own risk and cost,

failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

9. No claim on the quantity and quality of the

articles will be admitted once the tender/auction sale is

finalized.

10. The intending tenderers can inspect the articles

during the office hours in the office store with the

permission of the undersigned.

11. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

12. A separate rate must be quoted on each items.

13. The highest bid rate will be valid for 01 (one)

year from the date of issue of the acceptance letter by

the undersigned.

14. GST will be collected on the sale of old

newspapers, magazines and waste papers as per the

rates prevailing at the time of disposal/sale. Bidders

with registered Goods and Services Tax (GST) only must

allow to participate in the tender/auction processes.
