(G.O. Ms. No. 33/LAS/A4/2019, Puducherry, dated 31st October 2019)

ORDER

The Ministry for Jal Shakthi, Government of India, has launched a new

Scheme viz. Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in order to provide Functional Household

Tap Connection (FHTC) to every Rural Household by 2024. In this regard, the

Ministry has instructed to constitute State Water and Sanitation Mission (SWSM)

at State Level, District Water and Sanitation Mission (DWSM) at District Level

and Village Water and Sanitation Committee (VWSC) at Gram Panchayat Level for

implementation of JJM.
