4. Therefore, any person or association of parsons or institutions, residential and commercial establishments
including Public Works Department, Indian Railways, Airport and Harbour and Defence establishment who undertake
construction of or demolition of any civil structure which generates construction and demolition waste shall deposit
the construction and demolition waste only on the mentioned site at para. 3 above.
5. The construction and demolition waste only shall be deposited on the site at para. 3 above. No other
waste shall be mixed with the construction and demolition waste.
6. No construction and demolition waste shall be deposited by any waste generated at any time on any
public street, pavement, drain, public spaces or vacant sites or any location other than that the site mentioned at
para. 3 above.

RE-TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned from
authorized recyclers for the disposal of 500 litres of
Waste Oil belonging to this Office. These items will be
disposed off in a single lot.
Conditions for sale
1. The items proposed is to be disposed of in “as is
where is” basis and are kept in the stores of the
Government Agricultural Engineering Workshop, NSC
Bose Road, Vambakeerapalayam, Puducherry-605 001.
The sealed tender for above-mentioned item should be
addressed to the Deputy Director (Agricultural
Engineering), Government Agricultural Engineering
Workshop, NSC Bose Road, Vambakeerapalayam,
Puducherry-605 001, so as to reach this Office on or
before 27-11-2019 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders will be
opened at 4.00 p.m. on the same day in the presence of
the tenderers if any. If, the day prescribed being
declared as public holiday, the tenders will be opened
on the next working day. The tenderer who quotes the
highest rate will be the successful tenderer and the
tender will be finalized on his favour.
2. Only authorized tenderers shall be allowed to
participate in the tender process. The price bids of
unauthorized tender shall not be considered. The
authorization or Registration Certificate issued by the
Central Pollution Control Board or State Pollution
Control Board or Puducherry Pollution Control
Committee for the purpose of collection/recycling of
Waste Oil should be submitted with the bid/rates for
the same.
3. The Goods and Services Tax and other taxes as
per the Government norms on the auction proceeds will
be extra.
4. The intending tenderers can inspect the said item
during office hours with the permission of the
undersigned.
5. The intending tenderers should deposit an Earnest
Money Deposit of ` 500 (rupees five hundred only) in
the form of Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque of any
Nationalized Bank payable at Puducherry drawn in
favour of “The Drawing and Disbursing Officer, Office
of the Deputy Director (Agrl. Engg.), Govt. Agrl. Engg.
Workshop, Puducherry” along with the sealed tender.
The Earnest Money Deposit of unsuccessful tenderers
will be refunded on the same day soon after the
completion of tender sale and that of successful
tenderer will be deducted towards the cost of the items.
6. The rate should be quoted for per litre.
7. The successful tenderer should remit the full
amount in cash or Demand Draft with Goods and
Services Tax extra as applicable as per rules.
8. Each tenderer should enclose a copy of Goods
and Services Tax Registration Certificate. If, he is
exempted for payment of Goods and Services Tax,
an undertaking should be submitted.

9. The tender offered after the due date, time and
without earnest money deposit will be rejected.
10. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any/
all bids without assigning any reason, if, not satisfied.
In case of any dispute, the decision of the undersigned
will be the final.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of
unserviceable/condemned articles of Dead stock,
Furniture items and Electrical items belongs to this
Department of Women and Child Development,
Puducherry, will be disposed off in as-is-where-is
condition.
2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the
Director, Department of Women and Child Development,
New Saram, Puducherry-605 013 duly superscribing on
the envelope as “Tender for the purchase of
unserviceable/condemned articles” and it should reach
this office on or before 18-11-2019 at 3.00 p.m. The
tenders will be opened at 4.00 p.m. on the same day in
the presence of the tenderers who are present. The
auction will be conducted from the highest rate quoted.
3. The intending tenderers can inspect the above
articles in this Directorate during office hours on any
working day, but, on or before the tender/auction date
with the prior permission of the undersigned.
4. The tender will be awarded to the highest
tenderer/bidder on the spot. The tender quoted should
be as per items basis and not on weight basis.
5. Along with the tenders, a copy of any of the
following self attested documents should be submitted
by the tenderers:
(a) Valid Family Ration Card/Smart Card.
(b) Valid Goods and Services Tax Certificate.
(c) Aadhaar Card.
6. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of
` 2,000 (Rupees two thousand only) as an earnest
money deposit to the Cashier, Department of Women
and Child Development, Puducherry, before submitting
their tender. Without earnest money deposit, the tender
will summarily be rejected.
7. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful
tenderers will be returned immediately after the tender/
auction sale is over, whereas, the earnest money deposit
of the successful tenderer/bidder will be returned after
the official process is completed in all respects.
8. Goods and Services Tax will be charged extra as per
the rate applicable at the time of tender/auction sale.
9. No claim on the quantity or quality of the articles
will be admitted once the tender/auction sale is over.
10. The tenders offered after the due date and time
will be rejected.
11. If, any/all participant(s) misbehave(s) during the
tender/auction process, the tenderer(s) will be removed
from the place of auction, also his/her/their tender(s)
will be rejected and the earnest money deposit will be
forfeited.
12. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all the tenders without assigning any
reason thereof. If, the tender/auction date falls on
holiday, the tender/auction sale will be held on the next
working day.
13. Tender/auction sale is subject to the discretion
of the undersigned whose decision will be the final in
case of any dispute arises in this regard.

6. Acceptance of the tender/auction will be intimated to the successful bidder after finalization of the
e-auction. Successful bidder should pay either ` 7,000 (Rupees seven thousand only) or 25% of the bid amount
whichever is higher as Security Deposit by cash in the office of the undersigned, if failed, the amount will be
forfeited and will clear/remove the materials after the receipt of order by this Directorate within the preceding two
working days at his/her own risk from the date of receipt of clearance order from the competent authority.

8. The successful bidder should pay the cost of the articles including all applicable Goods and Services Tax.

9. This Department will not be in any way held responsible for the safe custody or any loss of the sold
articles. Once the tender/e-auction is finalized, no claim on the quantity and quality of the materials will be
entertained.
10. All the intending bidders are compulsorily required to posses digital signature certificate.
11. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof
and the decision of the undersigned will be the final and binding on all the tenders.

Director of Higher Education vide No. 508/DHTE/SV/
2019-20 for the disposal of condemned library books,
a sealed tender offering the rate per kilogram are invited.
Terms and conditions
1. Tenders superscribing the envelope “Tender for
the purchase of condemned library books” should reach
the Principal, Arignar Anna Government Arts and
Science College, Karaikal on or before 4-12-2019 at 3.00 p.m.
The tenders will be opened on the same day at 3.30 p.m.
in the presence of the tenderers, if any.
2. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest
money deposit of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only)
while submitting tenders.
3. The earnest money deposit of unsuccessful
tenderers will be refunded after finalisation of tenders.
4. Tenders received after the stipulated date and time
will not be accepted.
5. The successful tenderer should pay the amount
in full immediately and remove the articles at his/her
own cost.
