NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of the rule 3 of the
Pondicherry Municipal Councils (Conduct of Election of Councilors) Amendment
Rules, 2006 and rule 4 of the Pondicherry Village and Commune Panchayats
(Conduct of Election of Members of Commune Panchayat Councils and Presidents,
and Members of Village Panchayats) Amendment Rules, 2006, the State Election
Commissioner, Puducherry, hereby appoints the Officers of the Government of
Puducherry specified in column (2) of the Table below as the District Election
Officers and Regional Election Officers as specified in column (3) for the conduct
of Civic Elections in the Union territory of Puducherry.
