NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 18(2) of the Puducherry
Municipalities Act, 1973 as amended from time to time, read with section 2(39)
thereof and rule 2(d) of the Puducherry Municipalities (Registration of Electors)
Rules, 1974, the State Election Commissioner, Puducherry, hereby designates the
Commissioners of Municipalities concerned as the Electoral Registration Officers
(EROs) for the Municipal Wards of the Municipality concerned for the conduct of
Civic Elections in the Union territory of Puducherry as detailed below:
