NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of
the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (Central Act
39 of 1987), read with rule 4 of the Union territory of
Puducherry Legal Services Authority Rules, 1998 and
on the recommendation of the High Court of Judicature
at Madras, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is
pleased to nominate Hon’ble Justice R. Subbiah, a
Senior Judge of the High Court of Judicature at Madras
as the Executive Chairman of the Union territory of
Puducherry Legal Services Authority, Puducherry, with
effect from the date of assumption of office vice
Thiru Justice S. Manikumar, the then Senior Judge of
the High Court of Judicature at Madras, who has been
appointed as the Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court.

Terms and Conditions
1. The tenders in sealed covers should be addressed
to the Deputy Director (Administration), Directorate of
School Education, Puducherry, duly superscribing on the
envelope as “Tender for the purchase of old/condemned/
unserviceable furniture items” so as to reach the
undersigned on or before 30-12-2019 at 03.00 p.m.

The tenders will be opened on 30-12-2019 at 4.00 p.m.
in the presence of the tenderers or their authorized
representatives those who are present at the time of
opening of tender. If, the tender opening day happens
to be a public holiday, the same will be opened on
the next working day. Any incomplete tender is liable
for rejection.
2. Tenders received after the due date and time will
summarily be rejected. If, the highest rate quoted by
the tenderer is below the upset price, then open
auction will be conducted immediately on the same
day. Tenderers who have submitted tender, only be
allowed to participated in public auction.
3. The tenderers should deposit an amount of
` 300 (Rupees three hundred only) in cash as earnest
money deposit while submission of tender.
4. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful
tenderers will be refunded after the tender/auction
sale is completed/finalized.
5. The tenderers can inspect the old/condemned/
unserviceable furniture items during office hours in
the Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Centenary Educational
Complex, Puducherry, with the permission of the
undersigned between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. from
23-12-2019 to 27-12-2019.
6. The sale will be effected only to the highest
tenderer/bidder.
7. GST As per the rate in force will be charged
extra.
8. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the
auctioned amount immediately and dispose all the
articles within 24 hours at his/her own risk and cost,
failing which the earnest money deposit will be
forfeited.
9. The Department is in no way held responsible
for the safe custody of the articles once auctioned.
10. No claim about the quantity, quality and value
of the old/condemned/unserviceable furniture items
will be admitted once the tender/auction sale is finalised.
11. The undersigned reserves all rights either to
accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning
any reason thereof. The decision of the undersigned
is final in case of any dispute.

condemned Computers, Printers, Batteries and Electrical
items, as detailed in the Annexure, belonging to the
Directorate of School Education, Puducherry, from the
authorized e-waste collection centre/recycler/dismantler
(valid licence holders) in “as-is-where-is” condition.
2. The tenders in sealed covers should be addressed
to the Deputy Director (Administration), Directorate of
School Education, Puducherry, duly superscribing on the
envelope as “Tender for e-waste materials” and to reach
the undersigned on or before 27-12-2019 at 10.00 a.m.
The tenders will be opened on the same day at
11.00 a.m. in the presence of the tenderers or their
authorized representatives who are present at the time
of opening the tenders. If, the tender opening day
happens to be a public holiday, the same will be opened
on the next working day. The incomplete tender is liable
for rejection.
3. The tenderer(s) should offer the rate per kilogram
in the tender. The sale will be effected only to the
highest bidder. Public auction will be started from the
highest rate quoted by the tenderer(s).
4. Tenders received after the due date and time will
summarily be rejected. In the public auction, the
tenderers who have submitted sealed tender only will
be allowed to participate.
5. The tenderer(s) should deposit an amount of
` 1,200 (Rupees one thousand and two hundred only)
as earnest money deposit in Cash/Demand Draft drawn
in favour of the Deputy Director (Administration),
Directorate of School Education, Puducherry, payable
at Puducherry on or before 27-12-2019 at 10.00 a.m.
6. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful
tenderers will be refunded after the tender/auction sale
is completed/finalized.
7. The tenderer(s) (valid licence holders) can inspect
the old/condemned Computers, Printers, Batteries and
Electrical items during the office hours in the
Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Centenary Educational
Complex, Puducherry, with the permission of the
undersigned between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. from
23-12-2019 to 26-12-2019.

8. The following self attested photocopy of the
documents/certificates must be enclosed along with the
tender:
(1) Valid GST/Sales Tax Certificate.
(2) PAN Card.
(3) Valid licence in connection with authorized
e-waste collection centre/recyler/dismantler.
(4) Exemption from GST if any.
9. GST Rate in force will be charged extra on the
amount finalized.
10. No claim about the quantity, quality and value
of the unserviceable Electrical and Electronic items will
be admitted once the tender/auction sale is finalised.
11. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the
entire amount immediately and clear all the articles
within 24 hours at his/her own risk and cost, failing
which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited. The
tenderer should bring weighing scale/machine at his/her
own cost.
12. This office is not responsible for the safe
custody of the articles once auction sale is completed.
13. The undersigned reserves the right either to
accept or reject any or all tender(s) without assigning
any reason thereof. The decision of the undersigned
will be the final in case of any dispute.
14. Clarifications, if any, may be had from this office
