TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned

offering the rate for the purchase of old newspapers as

mentioned below:

2. The rate should be quoted for each item separately.

3. The tenders in sealed covers superscribed as

“Tender for purchase of old newspapers and waste

papers” should be addressed to the “The Employment

Officer, District Employment Exchange, Perunthalaivar

Kamarajar” Administrative Complex, Madagadi,

Karaikal-609 602 and sent to this office, so as to reach

before 3.00 p.m. on 08-01-2020 (Wednesday). The

tenders will be opened on the same day at 4.00 p.m. in

the presence of the tenderers those who are present at

that time. In case, the day for tender opening being

declare as public holiday for any reason, the tender will

be received and opened at the same time on the next

working day.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 100 (Rupees one hundred only) in case, as earnest

money deposit along with the tenders. The earnest

money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be

refunded immediately after the finalization of the

tenders.

5. Tenders received after the due date and time will

be rejected.

6. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender without assigning any reasons

thereof. Contravention of the rules of the tender notice

will result in the forfeiture of the earnest money deposit.

7. The successful tendrer shall arrange to weigh the

old newspapers/waste paper, pay the cost thereof along

with applicable Sales tax/GST and clear the times within

24 hours from the time of the tender sale is over at his/

her own risk and cost, failing which his/her earnest

money deposit will be forfeited.

8. No claim on the quality, quantity and value of the

sold goods will be entertained, once the tender is

finalized.

9. The materials can be inspected during office

hours on any working day in the office.

10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be final.arakal.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for disposal of old/

condemned Computers, Printers, UPS, Xerox Machine

and Electrical items as detailed in the Annexure,

belonging to the Office of the Deputy Director of

Education (Women), Puducherry, from the authorized

e-waste collection centre/recycler/dismantler (valid

licence holders) in ‘as-is-where-is’ condition.

2. The tenders in sealed covers should be addressed

to the Deputy Director of Education (Women),

Puducherry, duly superscribed on the envelope as

‘‘Tender for e-waste materials’’ and to reach the

undersigned on or before 08-01-2020 at 4.00 p.m.

The tenders will be opened on the same day at 4.30 p.m.

in the presence of the tenderers or their authorised

representatives those who are present at the time of

opening of tender. If, the tender opening day happens

to be a public holiday, the same will be opened on the

next working day.

3. The tenderer should offer the rate per kilogram in

the tender, the public auction will be started from the

highest rate quoted by the tenderer.

4. Tenders received after due date and time will

summarily be rejected, The tenderers who have

submitted sealed tender only will be allowed to

participate in the public auction.

5. The tenderer should deposit an amount of ` l,000

(Rupees one thousand only) as earnest money deposit

in Cash/Demand Draft drawn in favour of the ‘Drawing

and Disbursing Officer, Deputy Director of Education

(Women), Puducherry’, payable at Puducherry on or

before 08-01-2020 at 4.00 p.m. along with tender.

6. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded after the tender/auction sale

is completed/finalised.

7. The tenderers (valid licence holders) can inspect

the e-waste materials during the office hours in

Perunthalaivar Kamaraj Centenary Educational Complex,

Puducherry, with the permission of the undersigned

between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on 06-01-2020 and

07-01-2020.

8. The following self attested photocopy of the

documents/certificates must be enclosed along with the

tenders. (i) Valid GST Certificate (ii) Valid Licence in

connection with authorized e-waste collection centre/

recycler/dismantler and (iii) Exemption from GST, if any.

GST rate in force will be charged extra on the amount

finalised,

9. No claim about the quantity, quality and value of

the e-waste materials will be admitted once the tender/

auction sale is finalized. This office is not responsible

for the safe custody of the articles once the tender/

auction is sale over.

10. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount immediately and clear all the articles within

24 hours at his/her own risk and cost. Failing which the

earnest money deposit will be forfeited. The tenderer

should bring weighing scale/machine at his/her own cost.

12. The undersigned reserves the right either to

accept or reject any tender or all without assigning any

reason thereof. The decision of the undersigned is final

in case of any dispute.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned for a

sale of unserviceable/obsolete articles in a lot system

belong to various Institutions/Homes/Office of

Social Welfare Department in as-is-where-is condition.

2. The intending bidders may inspect the items at

the respective Institutions/Homes/Office between 10.30

a.m. and 12.30 p.m. on all working days from 19-12-2019

to 08-01-2020 with the permission of the concerned

officers.

3. Tender schedule can be had in person on payment

of ` 100 (non-refundable) from the Directorate of

Social Welfare, No. l, Main Road, Sarathambal Nagar,

Puducherry.

4. The tenderers may offer their bidding rate both

in figures and words for purchase of obsolete/

unserviceable items on lot basis in a letterhead/plain

p a p e r a n d i t ma y b e s u b mi t t e d i n a s e a l e d

cover addressed to the Senior Accounts Officer,

Directorate of Social Welfare, Puducherry, superscribed

as “Tender for purchase of unserviceable articles”.

The tender should reach this office on or before 08-01-2020

by 12.30 p.m. The tenders offered after the due date and

time will be rejected.

5. Each tenderer should enclose a Demand Draft for

an amount of ` 5,000 (Rupees five thousand only)

drawn in favour of the Senior Accounts Officer, Social

Welfare Department, Puducherry, as earnest money

deposit. The following self attested photocopy of the

documents/certificates must be enclosed along with

tenders:-

(a) Valid GST Certificate.

(b) PAN Card.

Driving Licence.

6. Tenders will be opened on 08-01-2020 at 2.30 p.m.

in the office of the undersigned in the presence of the

tenderers those who are present at the time of opening.

If, the opening day happens to be holiday, the tenders

will be opened on the next working day at the same time.

7. If, the highest tender amount offered by the

tenderer is found to be not acceptable to the

undersigned, the public auction will be conducted on

the spot, keeping the highest tender amount as

minimum bid amount.

8. Any false representation is found during the

tender process, the tender offered by him/them will be

cancelled and his/their earnest money deposit will be

forfeited.

9. If any/all participant(s) misbehaves during the

tender/auction process, the tenderer(s) will be removed

from the place of auction, also his/their tender(s) will

be rejected and the earnest money deposit will be

forfeited.

10. The earnest money deposit of the successful

tenderer will be adjusted against the sale proceeds and

the earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be discharged/returned immediately.

11. Any other person than the tenderer or his

authorized person will not be admitted at the time of

opening the tenders and processing of auction.

12. Acceptance of the tender/auction will be

intimated to the successful tenderer after finalization of

the tender/auction. Successful tenderer only will be

allowed to clear/remove the auctioned materials.

13. The successful tenderer should pay the cost of

articles and make his/her own arrangements to clear/

remove the articles immediately. The successful tenderer

shall have to remit the GST directly to the competent

authority.

14. This office will not be in any way held

responsible for the safe custody or any loss of the sold

articles. Once the tender/auction sale is finalized, no

claim, on the quantity and quality of the materials will

be entertained.

15. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any

or all the tenders without assigning any reasons thereof

and the decision of the undersigned in this regard will

be the final and binding on all the tenders.
