NOTIFICATION
In pursuance of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act,
2015, Puducherry Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2017,
notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 12/SWS/2017, dated 14-12-2017 and Chapter 10
Para 6.1 of Revised Guidelines of Integrated Child Protection Scheme, 2014 (CSS)
of Ministry of Women and Child Development, New Delhi, the Lieutenant-Governor,
Puducherry, is pleased to constitute District Level and Regional Level Advisory
Board for Childline in the Union territory of Puducherry with the following
composition, namely:–

2. The constitution of the District/Region Level Childline Advisory Boards
shall be for a period of three years from the date of issue of this notification and
the appointment of Members shall co-terminus with the tenure of the Boards. The
Boards shall hold its sittings in the office of the respective Chairperson or the place
as suggested by the Chairperson and review the functioning of Childline services
on quarterly basis and submit report to the Government which will enhance the
child protection mechanism in the District and also will strengthen the operational
aspects of childline.
