TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of unserviceable/

obsolete articles such as Iron Machineries and Wooden

Furnitures, Electrical, Electronics items, Machineries

and Tools and some other items which are stored in this

Office of the Principal, Government Industrial Training

Institute for Men, Mettupalayam, Puducherry-605 009.

The List of above-mentioned items is fixed on the

Notice-Board of this Office, those who are interested

can see on the Notice-Board and get the copy of the List

from this Office by request.

2. The intending tenderers may inspect the items in

the premises of Government Industrial Training Institute

for Men, Mettupalayam, Puducherry on 23-03-2020 from

9.00 a.m. to 12 Noon, during working hours.

3. The abovesaid items are kept in this Institute in

“as-is-where-is basis” for tender-cum-auction sale. The

minimum bid for the auction is ` 67,081 (Rupees sixty-

seven thousand and eighty-one only).

4. Tenders should be addressed to the ‘Principal,

Government Industrial Training Institute for Men,

Mettupalayam, Puducherry-605 009’, duly sealed and

superscribing on the envelope as ‘Tender for the

purchase of old unserviceable articles’ shall reach the

undersigned on or before 23.03.2020 at 3.00 p.m. and

will be opened on the same day at 4.00 p.m. in the

presence of the tenderers or their authorised

representatives those who are present. If, the scheduled

date of tender/auction happens to be a holiday, the date

of receipt and opening of tenders will automatically be

postponeded to the next working day at the same time.

5. The earnest money deposit of ` 6,708 (Rupees six

thousand seven hundred and eight only) by means of

Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Principal,

Government Industrial Training for Men, Mettupalayam,

Puducherry-605 009, should be deposited along with the

tender. The earnest money deposit will be returned to

the unsuccessful tenderers/bidders after completing the

tender/auction process.

6. The tender will be knocked down in favour of the

highest bidder. If, all the tenders knocked below the

amount fixed by the Government, the oral auction will

commence immediately on the same day.

7. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the

entire amount immediately plus TCS (1% of total

amount) soon after the confirmation of the tender/

auction sale and take delivery of the available materials

at his/her own risk. Subsequently, the old unserviceable

articles should be cleared by the successful tenderer/

bidder within two days after completing the tender/

auction process. The Institution will not responsible for

the quality and quantity of the articles.

8. The following self attested photocopy of the

documents/certificates must be enclosed along with the

tenders:-

(a) Valid VAT/GST/ST Certificate

(b) PAN Card

Driving Licence

Tenders without the above-mentioned certificate/

documents will be rejected.

9. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all the tenders without assigning any

reason.

3. The sealed tenders should be addressed to ‘The

Director, Directorate of Stationery and Printing,

Puducherry’ duly superscribing on the envelope as

“Tender for e-waste scraps” and sent to the undersigned

to reach on or before 3.00 p.m. on 23-03-2020. The

tenders will be opened at 3.30 p.m. on the same day in

the presence of the tenderers, if any, in the premises of

Directorate of Stationery and Printing, Puducherry.

If, the day for opening the tenders happens to be

public holiday for any reason, the tenders will be

received and opened by the same time on the next

working day.

4. The intending tenderers (valid licence holders)

may inspect the items at the Directorate of Stationery

and Printing, Thattanchavady, Puducherry, in all

working days from 19-03-2020 to 20-03-2020 during

office hours with the permission of the Store

Puducherry. The tenders received after the due date and

time will summarily be rejected.

5. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 2,000 (Rupees two thousand only) as earnest

money deposit in cash to the Cashier, Directorate of

Stationery and Printing, Puducherry. The following self

attested photocopy of the documents/certificates must

be enclosed along with the tenders:-

6. If, the highest tender amount offered by the

tenderers is found to be not acceptable to the

undersigned, the auction will be conducted on the spot

keeping the highest tender amount as minimum bid.

7. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers/bidders will be refunded immediately after the

tender/auction sale is over.

8. Acceptance of the tender/auction will be

intimated to the successful tenderer/bidder after

finalization of the tender/auction process.

9. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the

cost of the articles including all applicable GST.

10. This Department will not be in any way held

responsible for the safe custody or any loss of the sold

articles. Once the tender is finalized, no claim on the

quantity and quality of the materials will be entertained.

11. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any

or all the tenders without assigning any reasons thereof

and the decision of the undersigned will be the final

and binding on all the tenders.
