2. The intending tenderers may inspect the items at
the Backward Classes Hostels at Kirumambakkam,
Kurunji Nagar and Bahour between 10.30 a.m. and
4.00 p.m. on all working days from 10-06-2020 to
22-06-2020 with the permission of the concerned Welfare
Officers of Backward Classes Hostels at Kirumambakkam,
Kurunji Nagar and Bahour.
3. The tenderers may offer their tendering rate both
in figure and words for the purchase of obsolete/
unserviceable items on lot basis in a plain paper or in
their Letter Head and it may be submitted in a sealed
cover addressed to the Director, Directorate for the
Welfare of Backward Classes and Minorities,
Puducherry, superscribed as “Tender for the purchase
of obsolete/unserviceable articles”. The tenders should
reach this office on or before 25-06-2020 by 12.30 p.m.
The tenders offered after the due date and time will be
rejected.
4. Each tenderer should enclose a Demand Draft for
an amount of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only),
drawn in favour of the Assistant Director, Directorate
for the Welfare of Backward Classes and Minorities,
Puducherry as earnest money deposit. The tenderer
should submit the following self attested photocopy of
the documents/certificates must be enclosed along with
their tenders.
(a) Valid GST/Sales Tax Registration Certificate.
(b) PAN Card - Identity Proof
(c) Aadhaar Card/Valid Family Ration Card/Valid
Driving Licence - Identity Proof, also the tenders
without the earnest money deposit and above-mentioned
copies of certificate/documents will be rejected.
5. Tenders will be opened on 25-06-2020 at 4.00 p.m.
in the office of the undersigned in the presence of
the tenderers who are present at the time of opening.
If, the opening day happens to be a public holiday, the
tenders will be opened on the next working day at the
same time.
6. If, the highest tender amount offered by the
tenderer is found to be not acceptable to the
undersigned, the public auction will be conducted on
the spot, keeping the highest tender amount quoted as
minimum bid.
7. Any false representation is found during the
tender/auction process, the tender offered by him/her
will be cancelled and his/her earnest money deposit will
be forfeited.
8. If, any/all participant(s) misbehaves during the
tender/auction process, the tenderer(s)/bidder(s) will be
removed from the place of auction, also his/her tender
will be rejected and the earnest money deposit will be
forfeited.
9. The earnest money deposit of the successful
tenderers/bidders will be adjusted against the sale
proceeds and the earnest money deposit of the
unsuccessful tenderers/bidders will be returned
immediately,
10. Any other person, other than the tenderer/bidder
or his/her authorized person, will not be admitted at the
time of opening the tenders/auction.
11. Acceptance of the tender/auction will be intimated
to the successful tenderer after finalization of the
tender/auction. Successful tenderer/bidder only will be
allowed to clear/remove the sold materials.

The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the
cost of articles plus applicable Sales Tax/GST and make
his/her own arrangements to clear/remove the articles
immediately on five working days otherwise, the earnest
money deposit will be forfeited.
13. The office will not be in any way held
responsible for the safe custody or any loss of the sold
articles. Once the tender/auction sale is finalized,
no claim on the quantity and quality of the materials
will be entertained.
14. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any
or all the tenders without assigning any reasons
therefor and the decision of the undersigned in this
regard will be the final and binding on all tenders/
auction.

AUCTION NOTICE
The sale of the condemned/unserviceable articles of
this Community Health Centre, Karikalampakkam,
Puducherry, will be disposed off by public auction on
26-06-2020 at 10.30 a.m. in this Community Health
Centre. The details of condemned/unserviceable articles
are displayed in the notice-board of this Community
Health Centre. The intenting bidders may inspect the

articles in this Community Health Centre between
10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. from 22-06-2020 to 24-06-2020
with the permission of the Medical Officer Incharge.
2. The auction will be conducted for all the items
in a lot.
3. Those who are intending to participate in the
auction should deposit an amount of ` 1,000 (Rupees
one thousand only) as earnest money deposit to this
office before participating in the auction.
4. The earnest money deposit of unsuccessful
bidders will be refunded immediately after the auction
sale is over.
5. The undersigned reserves the right to cancel the
auction without assigning any reason thereof.
6. The successful bidder should pay the full amount
of bid immediately and should remove the condemned
articles within 24 hours at his/her own risk and expenses.
7. Sales tax at the rate available will be collected
extra.
8. In case of any dispute, the decision of the
undersigned will be the final.
