TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders offering the rate, in a lot, is invited for
the purchase of old condemned office store articles
belonging to this College. The rate should be quoted for
each item as follows:-
(i) Old condemned iron metal items
: for lot `
(ii) Old condemned wooden, steel,
: for lot `
plastic items.
(The list of abovesaid items enclosed herewith)
The sealed tend ers should b e ad dressed to
the Principal, Avvaiyar Government College for Women,
Karaikal, duly superscribed on the envelope as
“Tender for purchase of old condemned articles”, so as
to reach this office on or before 03-08-2020 at 11.00 a.m.
The tenders will be opened at 12.00 noon on the same
day in the presence of intending tenderers at the Office
of the Principal, Avvaiyar Government College for
Women, Karaikal.
The earnest money deposit of ` 2,000 (Rupees two
thousand only) should be deposited as Bankers Cheque
in the name of the Principal, Avvaiyar Government
College for Women, Karaikal, by the intending tenderers.
The earnest money deposit will be refunded to the
unsuccessful tenderers as soon as the tender sale is
completed. Tenders received after the due date and time
will be rejected.
The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject
any tender without assigning any reason thereof.
The old condemned office store articles will be weighed
on electronic weighing machine available in the College.
The successful tenderer should pay the full amount
immediately and clear the articles within 24 hours at his/her
own cost and risk. In case, if failed, the earnest money
deposit will be forfeited. No claim on the quantity and
quality of the articles will be admitted, once the tender
is finalized.
The intending tenderers may inspect the articles
mentioned in the list on 31-07-2020 only with the
permission of the undersigned.
Sales tax at the rate applicable will be charged extra.
In case of any dispute, the decision of the Principal,
Avvaiyar Government College for Women, Karaikal will
be the final.

invited for purchase of old newspapers and magazines,
belonging to this College, as detailed below.

Terms and conditions
1. Tenders superscribing on the envelope as “Tender
for the purchase of old newspapers and magazines”
should reach the Principal, Avvaiyar Government
College for Women, Karaikal, on or before 10-7-2020
at 3.30 p.m. The tenders will be opened on same day
at 3.45 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers, if any.
2. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest
money deposit of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only)
while submitting tender.
3. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful
tenderers will be refunded after finalizing the tender.
4. The tenders received after the stipulated date and
time will not be accepted.
5. The successful tenderer should pay the amount
in full immediately and remove the articles at his/her
own cost.
6. The Principal, Avvaiyar Government College for
Women, Karaikal, reserves the right to accept or reject
any or all tenders without assigning any reasons
thereof.
7. GST will be collected on the sale of old
newspapers and magazines as per the rate prevailing of
the time of disposal/sale.
8. The intending tenderers can inspect the items
during working hours with the permisson of the
Principal.
9. No claim about quality and quantity of articles will
be entertained once the tender sale is finalised.
10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the
Principal will be the final and binding on all concerned.
