ORDER

Whereas, an order was made, vide reference cited,

directing the winding up of the affairs of the Hindustan

Lever Employees’ Co-operative Credit Society Limited,

No. P. 600 (for brevity “the society”);

(2) And whereas, consequent to the winding up of

the Society, a Liquidator is to be appointed under

sub-section (1) of section 127 of the Puducherry

Co-operative Societies Act, 1972, in consultation with

the financing Bank, viz., Pondicherry State Co-operative

Bank Ltd., to carryout the liquidation processes for

cancelling the registration of the Society. The financing

Bank consented for the appointment of a Liquidator to

the Society;

(3) Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers

conferred on me under sub-section (1) of section 127

of the Puducherry Co-operative Societies Act, 1972, read

with clause (a) of rule 66 of the Puducherry

Co-operative Societies Rules, 1973, I hereby appoint

Thiru K. Dhanabalan, Co-operative Officer as the

Liquidator of the Hindustan Lever Employees’

Co-operative Credit Society Ltd., No. P. 600.

(4) The said Liquidator shall immediately realize the

assets of the Society and to discharge the liabilities of

the Society, if any, at the earliest. On completion of the

liquidation process, the Liquidator shall submit a report

to the undersigned to make an order for the cancellation

of registration of the Society under section 129 of the

said Act.
