2. Tenders superscribed as “Tender for the purchase of
used jute gunnies” shall be addressed to the Secretary,
Pondicherry Market Committee, Puducherry-605
009’, in a sealed cover, so as to reach this office on or
before 10-07-2020 at 4.30 p.m. The tenders received
will be opened on the same day at 5.00 p.m. in the
presence of the tenderers or their representatives.
3. The Tender Forms shall be had on payment of
` 100 (Rupees one hundred only) (non-refundable)
from this office during office hours. The intending
tenderers shall deposit a sum of ` 500 (Rupees five
hundered only) in cash as earnest money deposit
(EMD) along with the tenders. The earnest money
deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded
immediately soon after the tender sale is over.
4. The used jute gunnies intended for sale may be
inspected during office hours on any working day to bid
a fair value.
5. Tenders received after the due date and time
prescribed will summarily be rejected.
6. No claims on the quality and quantity of the
articles will be admitted once the tender is finalized.
7. The successful tenderer should remit the tender
amount immediately after conclusion of the tender sale.
Further,he/she should remove the used jute gunnies at
his/her own cost within 24 hours of acceptance for the
tender.
8. The undersigned reserves the right to accept/
reject any tender without assigning any reasons thereof.
9. If, the tender opening day happens to be a public
holiday, the same will be opened at the same time on
the next working day.
