NOTIFICATION

The Hon’ble Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased

to name the Municipal Multipurpose Community Hall/

Kalyanamandapam at UKV Nagar in Bheem Nagar, Yanam

as “Babu Jagjivan Ram Kalyana Mandapam” in

recognition of the former Central Cabinet Minister for

Defense and Deputy Prime Minister of India and

freedom fighter of the Indian Nation made by invoking

provision contained under rule 25 (1) of the “Rule of

the Business of the Government of Pondicherry, 1963”.

This order is issued with the prior approval of the

Council of Ministers under rule 46 of the “Rule of the

Business of the Government of Pondicherry, 1963”.

The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased

to order the following transfer/posting/additional

charge arrangement among I.F.S., Officers of this

Union Territory Administration.

(i) Shri G. Sathiyamoorthy, I.F.S., (AGMU:2010)

Deputy Conservator of Forests, Puducherry, shall

hold charge of the post of Managing Director

(PIPDIC), Puducherry, with additional charge of the

post Conservator of Forests, Puducherry. His pay

and allowances shall be claimed against the post

of Managing Director, PIPDIC.

(ii) Smt. Vanjulavalli Sridhar, I.F.S., (AGMU:2014)

Deputy Conservator of Forests, Karaikal, is

transferred and posted as Deputy Conservator of

Forests, Puducherry. She shall also hold additional

charge of the post of Deputy Conservator of

Forests, Karaikal.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited offering the highest rate

per lot for the sale of following unserviceable/beyond

repair and technically obsolete items in the Department

of Electronics Communication Engineering (Copy

enclosed as Annexure) in as-is-where-is condition on lot

basis.

2. The intending tenderers may inspect the items at

the office of the undersigned between 10.00 a.m. and

4.30 p.m. during the working days (from 10-09-2020 to

21-09-2020) with the permission of the officer

concerned.

3. The tenderers may offer their bidding rate both in

figure and words for purchase of obsolete/unserviceable

items on lot basis as per the standard format available

in this office in a sealed cover and addressed to the

Principal, Women’s Polytechnic College, Lawspet,

Puducherry-605 008, duly superscribing on the envelope

as “Tender for purchase of unserviceable/beyond repair

and technically obsolete items in the Department of

Electronics and Communication Engineering”.

4. The sealed tenders should reach this office on or

before 28-09-2020 at 12.45 p.m. The tenders will be

opened on the same day at 3.30 p.m. in the presence of

tenderers who are present at the time of opening of

tenders. If, the last day happens to be a Public holiday,

the same will be received and finalized on the next

working day. Tenders received after the due date and

time will summarily be rejected.

5. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` l,000 ( Rupees one thousand only) in the form of

Demand Draft in the name of The Principal, Women’s

Polytechnic College, Puducherry, as earnest money

deposit before submitting the tenders. The earnest

money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be

returned immediately after the tender/auction sale is

over/finalized.
