NOTIFICATION

The Government of India, Ministry of Agriculture,

Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers’

Welfare have issued scheme guidelines vide Letter

No. R-11016/2/2020-I&P., dated 10-07-2020 of Secretary

to Government of India, Department of Agriculture,

Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Government of India,

New Delhi, for implementation of a new pan India

Central Sector Scheme, “Financial Facility under

Agriculture Infrastructure Fund” with the objective to

provide a medium-long term debt financing facility for

investment in viable projects for post-harvest management

infrastructure and community farming assets through

interest subvention and financial support. The Government

of Puducherry has decided to implement this Central

Sector Scheme in the Union territory of Puducherry by

the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.

Under the Scheme, financing facility of ` 1 lakh crore

will be provided to Banks and financial institutions as

loans to Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS),

Marketing Co-operative Societies, Farmer Producers

Organizations (FPOs), Self Help Groups (SHGs),

Farmers, Joint Liability Groups (JLG), Multipurpose

Co-operative Societies, Agri-entrepreneurs, startups

and Central/State agency or Local Body sponsored

Public Private Partnership Project.

2. As per the guidelines of the Scheme, a State Nodal

Officer for implementation of the Scheme has to be

designated for implementation and coordination. Also,

a State Level Monitoring Committee, two District Level

Monitoring Committees and a Project Monitoring Unit

have to be notified by the State Government.

3. Accordingly, the Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry,

is pleased to accord approval to notify the Director of

Agriculture and Farmers Welfare as the State Nodal

Officer for implementation of the Central Sector Scheme

“Financial Facility under Agriculture Infrastructure

Fund” in the Union territory of Puducherry. Also, the

Lieutenant-Governor is pleased to accord approval to

constitute a “State Level Monitoring Committee (SLMC)”,

two “District Level Monitoring Committees (DLMCs)”

and a Project Monitoring Unit to implement the Scheme

in the Union territory of Puducherry.

Applications are invited for the allotment of Plots at

Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady, Puducherry and

Rural Industrial Estate, Kattukuppam, Puducherry.

(i) Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady, Puducherry:

(a) Four Plots measuring 4,500, 4,100, 2,600

and 1,500 sq.fts.

(b) One Plot measuring 17,878 sq.fts.

The completed applications along with Demand Draft

for ` 500 (Rupees five hundered only) in favour Drawing

and Disbursing Officer, Directorate of Industries and

Commerce, Thattanchavady, Puducherry should reach

the office of the Director of Industries and Commerce,

Thattanchavady, Puducherry-605 009 on or before

30-09-2020 by 5.45 p.m. The decision of the allotment

committee with regard to allotment shall be final. The

advertisement is issued based on the direction of the

Hon’ble High Court. The Applicants who had applied

earlier based on the notification, dated 09-10-2017,

17-01-2017 and 10-11-2017 in the Official Gazette stand

cancelled and fresh application be made.
