(G.O. MS. NO. 15/TD/TAX/2020, Puducherry, dated 14th October 2020)

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 13

of the Puducherry Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1967 (Act 5 of 1967),

the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to extend the time-limit for the

payment of Motor Vehicles Tax in respect of Transport Vehicles used or kept for

use in the Union territory of Puducherry for which:

(i)

the quarterly tax is to be paid for the 1st and 2nd quarters of the

financial year 2020-2021 i.e., from 01-04-2020 to 30-06-2020 and

01-07-2020 to 30-09-2020 is extended up to 31-10-2020; and

(ii) the quarterly tax is to be paid for the 3rd quarter of the financial

year 2020-2021 i.e., from 01-10-2020 to 31-12-2020 is extended up to

31-12-2020.
