NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 8 of the

Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Act, 2019 (Central Act No. 21 of 2019)

read with section 2 (1) (ii) of the said Act and with the concurrence of the Hon’ble

Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Madras, the Lieutenant-Governor,

Puducherry, hereby constitute the Court of Sessions specified in column (3) of the

Table below to be Designated Courts to exercise jurisdiction over the area or areas

as specified in column (5) of the said Table and to try an offence under the said

Act.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 7 of the

Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Act, 2019 (Central Act No. 21 of 2019)

read with section 2 (1) (ii) of the said Act, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry,

hereby appoints the Sub/Deputy Collectors (Revenue) North and South Subdivisions

of Puducherry region, Deputy Collectors (Revenue) of Mahe and Yanam regions

and Sub/Deputy Collector (Revenue) of Karaikal region to assist the Competent

Authority in discharging the functions under the provisions of the abovesaid Act.
