GOVERNMENT OF PUDUCHERRY

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the provisio to Article 309 of the Constitution, read with the

Notification No. F.5/4/65-GP., dated 11th January, 1965 of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs,

New Delhi, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Government

of Puducherry, India Reserve Battalion, (Group 'C' posts) Recruitment Rules, 2015, namely:-

1. Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, India

Reserve Battalion (Group 'C' posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2020.

(ii) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. For the existing rule 2 in the Government of Puducherry, India Reserve Battalion (Group 'C' posts)

Recruitment Rules 2015, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:-

"2 Number of posts, their classification and Level in the Pay Matrix".— The number of the said posts,

its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the

Schedule".

3. In the Schedule I to the Government of Puducherry, India Reserve Battalion (Group 'C' posts) Recruitment

Rules, 2015;

(a) In column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading

and entries shall be substituted, namely:-

"4. Level in the Pay Matrix: Level 5"

(i) In column (11), under the heading "Promotion" for the words and figures "Pay Band-1,

` 5,200-20,200 with Grade Pay – ` 2,400", the words and figure "Level-4 in the Pay Matrix"

shall be substituted.

(ii) against the heading "Deputation" under the serial No. (ii) for the words and figures "Pay Band-1,

` 5,200-20,200 with Grade Pay of ` 2,400", the words and figure "Level-4 in the Pay Matrix"

shall be substituted.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution, read with the

Notification No. F.5/4/65-GP., dated 11th January, 1965 of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs,

New Delhi, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Government

of Puducherry, India Reserve Battalion, (Group 'C' posts) Recruitment Rules, 2015, namely:-

1. Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, India

Reserve Battalion (Group 'C' posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2020.

(ii) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

and entries shall be substituted, namely:-

"4. Level in the Pay Matrix: Level 4"

(b) In column (11), under the heading "Promotion"

(i) for the words and figures "Pay Band-1, ` 5,200-20,200 with Grade Pay – ` 2,000", the words

and figure "Level-3 in the Pay Matrix" shall be substituted.

(ii) against the heading "Deputation" under the serial No. A (ii) for the words and figures

"Pay Band-1, ` 5,200-20,200 with Grade Pay of ` 2,000", the words and figure "Level-3 in the

Pay Matrix" shall be substituted.

Stenographer (Male) IRBn, Recruitment Rules 2013, namely: -

(1) Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, Home

Department Group 'C' posts of Head Constable/Clerk (Male) and Assistant Sub-Inspector/Stenographer (Male) (IRBn)

Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2020.

(ii) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

(2) For the existing rule 2 in the Government of Puducherry, Home Department Group 'C' posts of Head

Constable/Clerk (Male) and Assistant Sub-Inspector/Stenographer (Male) (IRBn), Recruitment Rules, 2013, the

following rule shall be substituted, namely:-

Police India Reserve Battalion, Group A, C and D posts Recruitment Rules, 2004, namely:-

(1) Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, India

Reserve Battalion, Group A, C and D posts of Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2020

(ii) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Schedule VIII to the Government of Puducherry, India Reserve Battalion Group A, C and D posts

Recruitment Rules, 2004.

In column (4), for the existing column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column

heading and entries shall be substituted, namely:-

"4. Level in the Pay Matrix: Level 3"
