NOTIFICATION

It is hereby notified for the information of the public under section 5(a) of the Indian Treasure Trove Act, 1878

(Act No. 6 of 1878), that the metal idols as described in the following Schedule were found while digging pond

for Integrated Agriculture Farm Pond under MKSP Scheme through Block Development Office, Karaikal at the

land belonging to Sri Prathambasimeswarar Sri Lakshmi Narayana Perumal, Hindu Religious Institution Temple in

Thiruvasal Nagar, Sethur, Thirunallar Taluk on 23-09-2020.

All persons who claim the finding or any part thereof are hereby required to appear before the

Deputy Collector (Revenue), Karaikal, performing the functions of the Collector under the Indian Treasure Trove Act, 1878 at his

chamber on any working day not being earlier than four months or later than six months after the date of first

publication of this notification in the Puducherry Official Gazette and prefer their claims.

The matter will be taken up for consideration and disposed of in accordance with the provisions of the

Indian Treasure Trove Act, 1878.

The following Official Memorandum of the Hon’ble High Court of Judicature of Madras, in respect

of the vacation for the Civil Courts and holidays for all the Courts for the year-2021 in the Union territory of Puducherry

is hereby notified.

1. The Subordinate Civil Courts in the Union territory of Puducherry are required to observe the following

periods of adjournments in respect of the vacation and holidays for the year 2021.

Puducherry and Karaikal regions.

(b) The following Eight Saturdays are working days for all the Subordinate Courts including Family

Courts functioning in Puducherry and Karaikal regions :-

23-01-2021, 06-03-2021, 17-04-2021, 05-06-2021, 03-07-2021, 07-08-2021, 04-09-2021 and 20-11-2021.

(c) Except the above Saturdays, all other Saturdays are holidays for all the Subordinate Courts functioning

in Puducherry and Karaikal regions except Family Courts functioning in Puducherry and Karaikal regions.

(d) The Family Courts functioning in Puducherry and Karaikal shall work on 1st and 3rd Saturday of

every months except those Saturdays which are declared as Public Holidays. All other Saturdays are

declared as holidays, except 23-01-2021 which is declared as working day.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited offering the highest rate

per lot for the sale of old condemned e-waste belonging

to the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare

Services, Puducherry, in as-is-where-is condition on lot

basis.

2. The intending tenderers may inspect the items at

the office of the undersigned between 10.30 a.m. and

12.30 p.m. on 05-01-2021 and 06-01-2021 with the

permission of the officer concerned.

3. The tenderers may offer their bidding rate both in

figures and words for purchase of obsolete/unserviceable

e-waste items on lot basis in plain paper/letter head in

a sealed cover and addressed to the Accounts Officer,

Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services,

Puducherry, duly superscribing on the envelope as

“Tender for the purchase of unserviceable e-waste

articles”.

4. The sealed tender should reach this office on or

before 06-01-2021 at 12.45 p.m.. The tenders will be

opened on the same day at 3.30 p.m. in the presence of

the tenderers, who are present at the time of opening

of tenders. If, the last day happens to be a public

holiday the same will be received and finalized on the

next working day. Tenders received after the due date

and time will summarily be rejected.

5. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) as earnest money

deposit before submitting their tender. The earnest

money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be

returned immediately after the tender sale is over/

finalized.

6. The tenderer should submit the following

self-attested photocopy of the documents along with

the tender.

(i) Valid GST Certificate

(ii) PAN Card

(iii) The valid e-Waste Recycler Certificate issued

by the State/Union Territory.

(iv) Tenders without these certificates/documents

will be rejected.

7. Any false representation is found during the

tender process, the tender offered by him/her/them will

be cancelled and his/her/their earnest money deposit

will be forfeited.
