TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of old condemned
furniture and other items of the Government High
School/Government Middle School under the control of
Chief Educational Officer, Puducherry, in “as-is-where-is”
condition on 27-01-2021.

2. Tenders in plain papers should be sealed and
addressed to the Chief Educational Officer, Directorate
of School Education, Puducherry, duly superscribing on
the envelope as “Tender for purchase of old
condemned furniture and other items” and sent to reach
the undersigned on or before 27-01-2021 at 3.00 p.m.
The tenders will be opened on the same day at 3.30 p.m.
in the presence of tenderers who are present. The rates
of the items for all Schools should be quoted separately
in one cover.
3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount
of ` 6,000 (Rupees six thousand only) as earnest money
deposit by cash. The earnest money deposit of the
unsuccessful tenderers will be returned immediately
after the tender sale is over.
4. Tenders received after the due date and time will
summarily be rejected.
5. The successful tenderer should pay the entire
amount and clear the items within 24 hours at his/her
own risk and cost, failing which the earnest money
deposit will be forfeited.
6. The intending tenderers may inspect the
condemned furniture and other items during office
hours on any working day with prior permission of the
concerned Headmasters in the above Schools without any
disturbance to the students. The quantities and qualities
are as-is-where-is condition.
7. No claim on the quality and quantity of the articles
will be admitted once the tender is finalized.
8. GST at the rate applicable will be charged.
9. In case of any dispute, the decision of
undersigned will be the final.
10. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all the tenders without assigning any
reason thereof.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited for disposal of old/
condemned computers and electrical items belonging to
Annai Saradha Devi Government High School, Vadhanur,
Puducherry, under the control of the Chief Educational

Officer, Puducherry and in the stores of the Chief
Educational Officer, Puducherry, from the authorized
e-waste collection centre/recycler/dismantler (valid
licence holders) in “as-is-where-is” condition.
2. The tenders in sealed covers should be addressed
to the Office of the Chief Educational Officer, Directorate
of School Education, Puducherry, duly superscribed on
the envelope as “Tender for e-waste materials” and to
reach the undersigned on or before 27-01-2021. The
tenders will be opened on the same day at 4.15 p.m. in
the presence of the tenderers or their authorized
representatives who are present at the time of opening
of tenders. If, the tender opening day happens to be
a public holiday, the same will be opened on the next
working day. The incomplete tenders are liable for
rejection.
3. The tenderer(s) should offer rate per kilogram in
the tender. The sale will be effected only to the highest
bidder. Public auction will be started from the highest
rate quoted by the tenderer(s).
4. Tenders received after the due date and time will
summarily be rejected. In the public auction, the
tenderers who have submitted sealed tenders only will
be allowed to participate.
5. The tenderer(s) should deposit an amount of
` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as earnest money
deposit by cash.
6. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful
tenderers will be refunded after the tender/auction sale
is completed/finalized.
7. The tenderer(s) (valid licence holders) can inspect
the old/condemned computers and electrical items
during the office hours with the permission.
8. The following self-attested photocopy of the
documents/certificates must be enclosed along with the
tender.
(i) Valid GST/Sales Tax Certificate.
(ii) PAN Card.
(iii) Valid licence in connection with authorized
e-waste collection centre/recycler/dismantler.
(iv) Exemption from GST, if any.
9. GST rate in force will be charged extra on the
amount finalized.
10. No claim about the quantity, quality and value of
the unserviceable electrical and electronic items will be
admitted once the tender is finalized.
11. The successful tenderer should pay the entire
amount immediately and clear all the articles within
24 hours at their own risk and cost, failing which the
earnest money deposit will be forfeited. The tenderer
should bring weighing scale/machine at their own cost.
12. This office is not responsible for the safe
custody of the articles once auctioned.
13. The undersigned reserves the right either to
accept or reject any tender or all without assigning any
reason thereof. The decision of the undersigned is final
in case of any dispute.
