NOTIFICATION

S.O............... In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1)

of section 3 of the Prisons Act, 1894 (Act IX of 1894), the Lieutenant-Governor,

Puducherry, hereby declares the following places as Temporary Prisons for the

detention of prisoners for the period from 08-01-2021 to 11-01-2021.

1. Kamaraj Marriage Hall, Ariyankuppam, Puducherry (South region)

2. Vaniar Marriage Hall, Villianur, Puducherry (West region)

3. Indoor Stadium of Indira Gandhi Sports Complex, Uppalam,

Puducherry (East region)

4. Police Community Hall, Gorimedu, Puducherry (North region)
