The Hon’ble Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased
to declare that all Government Offices/Government
Undertakings, Boards and other Institutions under the
control of Government of Puducherry and all Banking
Institutions including Co-operative Banks in the Union
territory of Puducherry shall be closed on the days
specified in the notification in Appendix-I and
Appendix-II, respectively during the Calendar year, 2021.
The following festivals, which fall on Sunday during
the year 2021, have been excluded from the Holiday list.

AFFIDAVIT
I, M. Lourdes Shanthi, daughter of R.F. Muthuraj,
aged 58 years and residing at Villa Domnic Joshan, Plot
No. 16 and 17, 11th Cross, Krishna Nagar, Church
Street B, Lawspet, Puducherry-605 008, do hereby solemnly
and sincerely affirm and state as follows:
1. I am the deponent herein.
2. I state that I got married D.J.P. Babou son of
Dharmaradhou and registered on 11-07-1988 at
Pondicherry Municipality, Puducherry vide Registration
No. 168/1988/PMC.
Further, I state that after my marriage, I was called
and identified as ‘Shanthi Babou’ and the said name
has been mentioned in my Passport under
No. H8720837. The said marriage registered with the
No legal responsibility is accepted for the publication of advertisement regarding change of names and other private
notifications in the Gazette. Persons notifying the same will remain solely responsible for the legal consequences and
also for any other misrepresentations, etc.

ADDENDUM
In the list of holidays to be observed in the year 2021, notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 80, dated 7-10-2020 of
Home Department, Puducherry, the word ‘Saturday’ may be inserted in the notification and read as follows:
Pondicherry Municipality, Puducherry was dissolved,
through a Judgment and Decree, passed by the
Hon’ble Family Court, Puducherry, in O.S. No.
19/2016.
3. I hereby abandon the use of my former name
‘Shanthi Babou’ and hereinafter, I shall be called
and identified by the name ‘M. Lourdes Shanthi’,
daughter of R.F. Muthuraj.
4. I state that what are all stated in the above
paragraphs is true and correct to the best of my
knowledge, belief and information.
Solemnly and sincerely affirmed and signed before
