TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of

unserviceable/obsolete articles such as wooden, steel

and other items of aluminium, stainless steel, brass,

etc., belonging to this Institution in “as-is-where-is”

condition.

2. The intending tenderers may inspect the items in

the premises of Thiruvalluvar Government Girls’ Higher

Secondary School, La Porte Street, Puducherry, without

disturbance to the students during office hours on

15-3-2021 and 16-3-2021 with prior permission of the

Head of this Institution.

3. Tenders should be addressed to the “Vice-Principal,

Thiruvalluvar Government Girls’ Higher Secondary

School, Puducherry-605 001, duly sealed and superscribed

on the envelope as “Tender for the purchase of old

unserviceable obsolete articles” and shall reach the

undersigned on or before 17-3-2021 at 3.00 p.m.

The received tenders will be opened on the same day

at 3.45 p.m. in the presence of tenderers or their

authorised representatives who are present. The acution

will be conducted from the highest rate quoted. If, the

scheduled date of tender/auction happens to be a

public holiday, the date of receipt and opening of

tenders will automatically be postponed to next

working day at the same time.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected.

5. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of

` 300 (Rupees three hundred only) as earnest money

deposit. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be returned immediately after the tender/

auction sale is over.

6. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the

entire amount and clear the items within 24 hours at

his/her own risk and cost, failing which the earnest

money deposit will be forfeited.

7. No claim on the quantity or quality of the items

will be admitted once the tender/auction sale is

finalised.

condemned computers and its peripherals, electrical

items belonging to this Institution, in “as-is where-is”

condition from the authorised “e-Waste” Collection

Centres/Re-cyclers/Dismantlers (valid licence holders).

2. The tenders in sealed cover should be addressed

to the “Vice-Principal, Thiruvalluvar Government Girls’

Higher Secondary School, Puducherry-605 001’’,

duly superscribed on the envelope as “Tender for

disposing of e-waste materials” and to reach the

undersigned on or before 17-3-2021 at 10.00 a.m.

The received tenders will be opend on the same

day at 11.00 a.m. in the presence of tenderers as their

authorised representatives who are present at the time

of opening tenders. If, the tender opening day happens

to be a public holiday, the same will be opened on the

next working day.

3. The tenderer should offer the rate for the entire

items as one lot in their tender. The sale will be effected

only to the highest bidder, public action will be started

from the higher rate quoted by the tenderers.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected. In the public auction the

tenderers who have submitted sealed tenders only will

be allowed to participate.

5. The tenderers should deposit an amount of

` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as earnest money

deposit by cash. The earnest money deposit of the

unsuccessful tenderers will be returned immediately

after the tender/auction sale is completed/finalised.

6. The tenderers (valid licence holder) can inspect

the old/condemned e-waste computers and electrical

items in the premises during office hours on 15-3-2021

and 16-3-2021 with prior permission and without any

disturbance to the students.

machine at their own cost.

11. This office is not responsible for the safe
