2. And whereas, in consonance with the above direction and in exercise of the powers conferred

under section 4 (1) (a) read with section 4 (2) (a) & (b) of the Puducherry Marine Fishing Regulation Act, 2008

(Act No. 6 of 2008), in regard to the need to conserve marine fishery wealth and to regulate fishing on a scientific

basis, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, implements this ban period in the territorial waters of the Union territory

of Puducherry;

3. Now, further, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to authorize the Secretary to Government

(Fisheries) to prohibit the fishing activities within the territorial waters of the Union territory of Puducherry by

issuing Notices in the local newspapers on imposition of the above ban on fishing on the region specified in Column (2)

of the below Table by class of fishing vessels mentioned in Column (3) during the period specified in Column (4) of

the Table given below:-

AFFIDAVIT

I, N. Balamurugan, son of Nadane. T, aged about

33 years and having my permanent residence at No. 36,

Bharathi Street, Sudhana Nagar, Nainarmandapam,

Puducherry-605 004, do hereby solemnly affirm and

state as follows:

That I am the deponent herein.

I state that I am a Hindu by birth. I state and

declare that I have belief and love in Christianity, by

which I have taken Baptism on 16-07-2016 before

C.S.I. Wesley Church Pastorate, Kotagiri, Nilagiri

District, Tamil Nadu.

Further, I state that I want to convert myself the

religion from Hinduism to Christianity with my own

will and choice, without any undue influence or force

or pressure from third person.

I state that I have no intention to change my name

after conversion into Christianity and my name shall

be called as ‘N.Balamurugan’ as stated in this

affidavit.

I swear this affidavit for the purpose to submit the

same to the concern Authories.

I state and declare that I swear in this affidavit

are true and correct statement to the best of

my knowledge, belief and information, and nothing

material facts have been concealed and suppressed

thereon.
