This industrial dispute coming on this day before me

for hearing, the petitioner and respondent having

remained absent, upon perusing the records, this Court

passed the following:

AWARD

This Industrial Dispute arises out of the reference

made by the Government of Puducherry vide

G.O. Rt. No.67/AIL/LAB/T/2020, dated 13-07-2020 of the

Labour Department, Puducherry, to resolve the

following dispute between the petitioner and the

respondent, viz.:-

(i) Whether the dispute raised by the Union

workmen represented by PIMS Puduvai Manila Pattali

Thozhir Sangam, Puducherry, against the management

of M/s. Puducherry Institute of Medical Sciences,

Kalapet, Puducherry, over bonus for the year

2018-2019 is justified are not? If justified, what

relief the Union workmen are entitled to?

(ii) To compute the relief if any, awarded in terms

of money if, it can be so computed?

2. Today, when the case came up for hearing,

petitioner notice returned as ‘Door Locked’. Already

notice sent to the petitioner and the same was also

returned as Door Locked, hence, this petition is closed

for non-appearance of the petitioner.

NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the Government is of the opinion that an

industrial dispute has arisen between the management

of M/s. Morgan McKinley Private Limited, Mahe and

Thiru Ajith Kumar, Mahe, over reinstatement with

backwages, subsistence allowance and bonus dues in

respect of the matter mentioned in the Annexure to

this order;

And whereas, in the opinion of the Government,

it is necessary to refer the said dispute for adjudication;

Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority delegated

vide G.O. Ms. No. 20/91/Lab./L, dated 23-5-1991 of the

Labour Department, Puducherry, to exercise the powers

conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (1) of section 10

of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV

of 1947), it is hereby directed by the Secretary to

Government (Labour) that the said dispute be referred

to the Labour Court, Puducherry, for adjudication. The

Labour Court, Puducherry, shall submit the Award

within 3 months from the date of issue of reference as

stipulated under sub-section (2-A) of section 10 of the

Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and in accordance

with rule 10-B of the Industrial Disputes (Central)

Rules, 1957. The party raising the dispute shall file a

statement of claim complete with relevant documents,

list of reliance and witnesses to the Labour Court,

Puducherry, within 15 days of the receipt of the order

of reference and also forward a copy of such statement

to each one of the opposite parties involved in the

dispute.

2. The CENTAC shall notify the Information Brochure

2021-2022 prescribing the eligibility criteria and

procedures for admission of candidates to Lateral Entry,

Full-time/Part-time Postgraduate, Under Graduate and

Diploma Courses. The CENTAC will also carry out

counseling for the seats earmarked to Puducherry Union

Territory by Government of India in various

Government Institutions all over India and also for seats

earmarked in Institutions within Puducherry Union

Territory. For the remaining courses, the concerned

Admission Authority/Committee as mentioned in the

Order No. 0004/DHTE/Tech./T3/2019-2020, dated 11-03-2020

shall admit students as per the guidelines specified

therein.

3. The Chairman, CENTAC, shall call the Head of any

College or subject experts to the CENTAC meetings as

special invitees, on need basis.

4. The term of Centralized Admission Committee

(CENTAC) shall ordinarily be up to the completion of

admission process for the year 2021-2022. Notwithstanding

this, the CENTAC shall continue till such time a new

Committee is constituted.

NOTIFICATION

In supersession of the G.O. Ms. No. 26, dated 12-04-2021

of the Health Secretariat, Puducherry, considering the

recent spike in the number of COVID-19 positive cases

in the Union territory of Puducherry, the theoretical

classes in respect of all the Medical/Paramedical-Under

Graduate/Postgraduate Diploma/Degree Courses, as the

case may be, shall be conducted through online mode

alone with immediate effect, until further orders. The

practical classes thereof shall continue to be conducted

through offline mode by strictly following the existing

SOP for COVID-19. The examination of the courses shall

be held in accordance with the norms issued by the

concerned University from time to time.

Sealed tenders are invited offering the highest rate

per lot for the sale of old condemned items (e- waste)

belonging to the Office of the Deputy Director (FW & MCH),

Health Department, Puducherry, in as-is-where-is

condition on lot basis.

2. The intending tenderers may inspect the items at

the office of the undersigned between 10.30 a.m. and

12.30 p.m. on 17-05-2021, 18-05-2021 and 19-05-2021 with

the permission of the officer concerned.

3. The tenderers may offer their bidding rate both

in figures and words for purchase of obsolete/

unserviceable items on lot basis in plain paper/letter

head in a sealed cover and addressed to the Deputy

Director (FW&MCH), Puducherry, duly superscribing

on the envelope as “Tender for the purchase of

unserviceable articles (e-waste)”.

4. The sealed tenders should reach this office on or

before 19-05-2021 at 12.45 p.m. The tenders will be

opened on the same day at 3.30 p.m. in the presence of
