NOTIFICATION

In supersession of the G.O. Ms. No. 26, dated 12-04-2021

of the Health Secretariat, Puducherry, considering the

recent spike in the number of COVID-19 positive cases

in the Union territory of Puducherry, the theoretical

classes in respect of all the Medical/Paramedical-Under

Graduate/Postgraduate Diploma/Degree Courses, as the

case may be, shall be conducted through online mode

alone with immediate effect, until further orders. The

practical classes thereof shall continue to be conducted

through offline mode by strictly following the existing

SOP for COVID-19. The examination of the courses shall

be held in accordance with the norms issued by the

concerned University from time to time.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of

section 107 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of

Children) Act, 2015 (Central Act No. 2 of 2016) and

sub-rule (1) of Rule 90 of Puducherry Juvenile Justice

(Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2017 and in

supersession of the Notification in G.O. Ms. No. 38,

dated 17th September, 2009 of Home Department,

Puducherry, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is

pleased to set up the following Special Juvenile Police

Units in the Puducherry region of the Union territory

of Puducherry for the purpose of the abovesaid Act and

Rules.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited offering the highest rate

per lot for the sale of old condemned items (e- waste)

belonging to the Office of the Deputy Director (FW & MCH),

Health Department, Puducherry, in as-is-where-is

condition on lot basis.

2. The intending tenderers may inspect the items at

the office of the undersigned between 10.30 a.m. and

12.30 p.m. on 17-05-2021, 18-05-2021 and 19-05-2021 with

the permission of the officer concerned.

3. The tenderers may offer their bidding rate both

in figures and words for purchase of obsolete/

unserviceable items on lot basis in plain paper/letter

head in a sealed cover and addressed to the Deputy

Director (FW&MCH), Puducherry, duly superscribing

on the envelope as “Tender for the purchase of

unserviceable articles (e-waste)”.

4. The sealed tenders should reach this office on or

before 19-05-2021 at 12.45 p.m. The tenders will be

opened on the same day at 3.30 p.m. in the presence of

the tenderers/bidders, who are present at the time of

opening of tenders. If, the last day happens to be a

public holiday, the same will be received and finalised

on the next working day. Tenders received after the due

date and time will summarily be rejected,

5. The rate should be quoted only for per kilogram

excluding GST.

6. The tenderer/bidder should submit the following

self-attested photocopy of the document along with the

tender;

(i)

Valid GST Certificate.

(ii)

PAN Card.

(iii)

The valid e-Waste Recycler Certificate issued

by the State/Union Territory.

(iv)

Tenders without these certificates/document

will be rejected.

7. Any false representation is found during the

tender/auction process, the tender offered by him/them

will be cancelled.

8. If, the highest tender amount offered by the

tenderer is found to be not acceptable, the public auction

will be conducted on the spot, keeping the highest

tender amount as minimum bid amount.

9. Other than the tenderer or his/her authorised

person no one will be admitted at the time of opening

the tender and auction process. No claim on the

quantity and quality of the articles will be admitted once

the tender/auction is admitted.

10. If, any/all participants(s), misbehave(s) during

the tender/auction process, the tenderer(s) will be

removed from the place of auction, also his/her/their

tender(s) will be rejected.

11. Acceptance of the tender/auction will be

intimated to the successful tenderer/bidder after finalization

of the tender/auction. Successful tenderer/bidder only

will be allowed to clear/remove the auctioned materials.

12. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the

full amount immediately along with the GST amount and

clear the items within 24 hours at his/her own risk and

cost. This office will not be in any way held responsible

for the safe custody or any loss of sold articles.

13. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason

thereof. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned in this regard will be the final and binding

on all the tenders/auction.
