NOTIFICATION

The Lieutenant-Governor is pleased to accord

approval for engagement of 100 Nursing Officers on

contract basis in the region of Puducherry for a period

of 90 days, with a view to tackle the second wave of

COVID-19 pandemic effectively, subject to the following

conditions.

(i) The candidates (59 Nos.) listed out in the

waiting list of the previous engagement, vide I.D. Note

No. G.21011/DHFWS/D3/04/2020-2, dated 12-08-2020

and 18-11-2020 of the Directorate of Health and

Family Welfare Services, Puducherry, shall be treated

as selected candidates against the said 100 posts, so

as to avail of their services at once; and offer of

appointment shall be issued accordingly.

(ii) The shortfall in filling up of the posts shall be

engaged through a fresh walk-in interview. The

minimum educational and other qualifications,

experience and age-limit for the engagement shall be

prescribed as specified in the Recruitment Rules for

the post of Nursing Officer. The monthly remuneration

payable for the contractual appointment shall be

` 15,000 per candidate.

(iii) The selection shall be made based on the

performance of candidates in walk-in interview, which

needs to be assessed by the Selection Committee,

comprising the following officers.

(iv) The details of the walk-in interview shall

and Tamil newspapers of Puducherry region through

the Department of Information and Publicity,

Puducherry. The same shall also be hosted in the

official website of the Health Department and also

in the private news channels of Puducherry region.

(v) The contractually engaged candidates cannot

claim over permanent or regular employment in the

Department, as this is purely a temporary contractual

engagement. This clause shall be incorporated in the

offer of appointment as one of the service conditions.

3. This issues with the concurrence of Finance

Department vide their I.D. Note No. 3035/FC/FD/F4/A1/

2021-2022, dated 22-04-2021.

2. The conditions for the engagement are given below:

(i) The minimum educational and other qualifications, experience and age-limit for the engagement shall

be prescribed as specified in the Recruitment Rules of the respective posts.

(ii) The selected candidates shall be paid the monthly remuneration in the following manner–

outsourced agency(ies), which has/have already supplied such manpower, or through a short tender by doing

competition among the outsourcing agencies.

(v) The selected candidates do not have any claim over permanent or regular employment in the

Department, as this is purely a temporary contractual engagement. This clause shall be incorporated in the offer

of appointment as one of the service conditions.

Pursuant to the Order, dated 28-11-2014 of the

Hon’ble High Court of Judicature at Madras in the Writ

Petition Nos. 9350 and 13629, read with the decision of

the Hon’ble High Court of Judicature at Madras vide

Official Memorandum, dated 16-03-2021 in ROC No. 345/

2014/RG/Bl/Spl. Cell and with the approval of the

Administrator, being the Appointing Authority for the

cadre posts of the Judicial Officers in the Puducherry

Judicial Service, the seniority of the Senior Civil Judges

onwards and monetary benefits from the date on which

they had assumed charge of the post of Senior Civil

Judge.

The seniority among the six Judicial Officers of the

Puducherry Judicial Service has also been refixed, in the

cadre of District Judge as follows:-

Thiru Swarnam J. Nadarajan is eligible for

consequential/notional benefits from 20-10-2014

onwards, the date on which his junior Tmt. V. Sofana Devi,

who had taken charge of the post of District Judge and

he is entitled to monetary benefits from the date of his

assumption of charge of the post of District Judge.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned

towards the disposal of unserviceable/obsolete articles

(E-waste) belonging to this Institution in “as is where

is condition” on lot basis.

2. The intending tenderers may inspect all the

articles at CGP Complex in Puducherry Region as

detailed below between 10.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. from

24-05-2021 to 25-05-2021 with the permission of the

undersigned.

3. Sealed tenders in the prescribed Tender Form

addressed to the Deputy Director (Immunization),

Victor Simonel Street, Old Maternity Complex,

Puducherry-605 001, superscribed as “Tender for

purchase of unserviceable articles (E-waste)” should

reach this office on or before 25-05-2021 by 12.30 p.m.

The intending tenderers should deposit an amount of

` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as earnest

money deposit in cash, before submitting the tender.

The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be returned immediately after the tender/

auction is over/finalized.

4. The rate should be quoted only for per kilogram

excluding GST.

5. The tenderer should submit the following self-

attested photocopy of the documents along with the

tender.

(V) Valid GST Certificate

(VI) PAN Card

(VII) The valid e-waste Recycler Certificate issued

by the State/Union Territory.

6. If, any false representation is found during the

tender process, the tender offered by him/them will be

cancelled and his/her/their earnest money deposit will

be forfeited.

7. Tenders will be opened on 25-05-2021 at 4.00 p.m.

at the office of the undersigned in the presence of the

tenderers who are present at the time of opening. If, the

last day happens to be a public holiday, the same will

be received and finalised on the next working day.

Tenders received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected.

8. In case, highest tender amount offered by the

tenderer is found to be not acceptable by the

undersigned, public auction will be conducted on the

spot, keeping the highest tender amount as minimum bid

amount.

9. The earnest money deposit of the successful

tenderer will be adjusted against the sale proceeds and

the earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tender

will be discharged/retuned immediately.

10. The tenderer or his/her authorised agent (only

one person) may choose to be present at the time of

opening the tender and auction. Authorised person

should bring authorisation letter as prescribed. No claim

on the quantity and quality of the articles will be

admitted once the tender/auction is admitted.

11. Acceptance of the tender/auction will be

intimated to the successful tenderer/bidder after

finalisation of the tender/auction. Successful tenderer/

bidder only will be allowed for clearing/removing the

materials.
