The following order of the Lieutenant-Governor dated 19th May, 2021 is published for general information:—

“ORDER

No. 1-24/LGS/2021 - In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 11 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct

of Business of the Puducherry Legislative Assembly, 1966, I, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Lieutenant-Governor of

Puducherry, hereby appoint Thiru K. Lakshminarayanan, being a Member of the Puducherry Legislative Assembly

to perform the duties of the Speaker until the Speaker shall have been chosen by the Legislative Assembly under

section 7 of the Government of Union Territories Act, 1963 (Act No. 20 of 1963).
