2. Tenders in plain papers should be sealed and
addressed to the Executive Engineer, Port Department,
Puducherry, superscribing on the envelope as “Tenders
for the purchase of old newspapers” and to reach the
undersigned on or before 28-06-2021 by 10.00 a.m. The
tenders will be opened on the same day at 11.30 a.m. in
the presence of the tenderers who are present at that
time.
3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount
of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) by cash as
earnest money deposit. The earnest money deposit of
the unsuccessful tenderers will be returned immediately
after the tender process is over. The earnest money
deposit of the successful tenderer will be retained and
the same will be adjusted at the final disposal of the
old newspapers.
4. Tenders received after the due date and time will
be rejected.
5. The successful tenderer should pay the entire
amount and clear the items within 24 hours at his/her
own risk and cost failing which the earnest money
deposit will be forfeited.
6. The intending tenderers may inspect the old
newspapers during office hours on any working day with
the prior permission of the undersigned.
7. The old newspapers will be delivered to the
successful tenderer after making weighment in the
Department weigh bridge that is available in the New
Port Complex, Puducherry.
8. No claim on the quality of the old newspapers will
be admitted once the tender is finalized.
9. In case of any dispute the decision of the
undersigned will be the final.
10. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all the tenders without assigning any
reason thereof.
11. The GST, if any, at the rate applicable will be
charged and collected extra, over and above the sale
proceeds. Therefore, the tenderer shall attach a self-
attested copy of their valid GST Certificate.

Further, I state that my name is entered as
‘Veeraragahavan’ in my Voter’s Identity Card bearing
No. IPD0122374.
Further, I state that my name is entered as
‘Veeraragahavan’ in my PAN Card bearing
No. AWBPV5235F.
Further, I state that my name is entered as
‘Veeraragavan’ in my Savings Account Book of
Indian Overseas Bank, Lawspet Branch, Puducherry
bearing Savings A/c.No. XXXXXXXXXXX2185.
Further, I state that my name is entered as
‘Viraragou’ in my Certificate of Life Insurance
Corporation of India bearing Policy No.733610309.
Further, I state and declare that the above names
‘Viraragou’, ‘Veeraragahavan’ and ‘Veeraragavan’ are
referred one and the same person i.e., myself.,
I am swearing this affidavit for the purpose to
produce the Competant Authority, Government of
Puducherry.
I declare that the above contents are true and
correct to the best of my knowledge, belief and
nothing material facts have been concealed thereon.
