NOTIFICATION

The following Order of the Lieutenant-Governor, dated 11th June, 2021, is published for general

information:—

“ORDER

No. 56/CA-LG/2021.— In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by sub-section (1) of section 6 of the

Government of Union Territories Act, 1963 (Act No. 20 of 1963), I, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Lieutenant-Governor

of Puducherry, hereby summon the Legislative Assembly to meet at the Assembly Hall on Wednesday,

the 16th June, 2021 at 9.30 hours.

In exercise of the powers conferred upon me under rule 9 (1) of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of

Business of the Puducherry Legislative Assembly, 1966, I fix the Wednesday of 16th June, 2021, as the date for

holding the Election of Speaker by the Members of the Legislative Assembly.
