In compliance with the direction passed by the

Deputy Accountant General (P), Office of the Principal

Accountant General (Civil Audit) in the Inspection

Report on the Accounts of Office of the Deputy Director

(ESI), Puducherry vide Letter No. Pr.AG(G&SSA)/PBS-

II/4/IR-61/2013-14/06, dated 07-08-2013 of the Office of

the Principal Accountant General (Civil Audit), Puducherry,

the Non-practicing Allowance being granted to the

Specialists/Medical Officers, working in the ESI Hospital/

Dispensaries and the Office of Deputy Director (ESI),

is withdrawn with immediate effect.

2. Their pay and allowances shall henceforth be

regulated in accordance with the provisions laid down

in the Pondicherry Health Services (Allopathy) Rules,

1998 vide the G.O. Ms. No. 53, dated 18-09-1998 of Health

and Welfare Department (Health), Chief Secretariat,

Puducherry.

1. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

“Chief of Government Pharmacy, Indira Nagar, Gorimedu,

Puducherry-605 006” duly superscribed on the envelope

as “Tender for the purchase of old/unserviceable/

obsolete/condemned articles (e-waste)” and the tender

should reach this office on or before 12-07-2021 at 10.30

a.m. The rate should be quoted for whole lot only. The

tenders received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected.

2. The tenderer should submit the following

self-attested photocopy of the documents along with

the tender.

(iv) Valid GST Certificate

(v) PAN Card and

(vi) the valid e-waste recycler Certificate issued

by the State/Union Territory.

3. The tenders received without the abovesaid

certificates/documents will be rejected.

4. The tenders received will be opened on the same

day at 11.00 a.m. in the presence of those tenderers or

their representatives who are present at the time of

opening. If, the last day happens to be a public holiday,

the same will be received and finalized on the next

working day.

5. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of

` 3,000 (Rupees three thousand only) in cash as earnest

money deposit (EMD) to the Cashier, Office of the Chief

of Government Pharmacy, Puducherry, at the time of

submitting their tenders. The tenders without earnest

money deposit will summarily be rejected. The earnest

money deposit of the successful tenderer will be

adjusted against the sale proceeds and the earnest

money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be

refunded immediately after the finalization of the tender.

6. In case, highest tender amount offered by the

tenderer is found to be not acceptable to the

undersigned, public auction will be conducted on the

spot, keeping the highest tender amount as minimum bid

amount.

7. Acceptance of the tender/auction will be

intimated to the successful tenderer after finalization of

the tender/auction sale. Successful tenderer/bidder will

only be allowed for clearing/removing the materials.

8. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the

entire amount immediately along with the GST and clear

all the items within 24 hours at his/her own risk and

cost, failing which the earnest money deposit will be

forfeited and deposited into the Government account.

This office should not be in any way held responsible

for the safe custody or any loss of sold articles.

9. The tenderer or his authorized agent (only one

person) may choose to be present at the time of opening

the tender/auction. Authorized person should bring

authorization letter. No claim on the quantity and quality

of the old/unserviceable items will be admitted once the

tender is finalized.

10. The intending tenderers can inspect the

unserviceable items (e-waste) at Government Pharmacy,

Indira Nagar, Gorimedu, Puducherry, during the office

hours between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon from 05-07-2021

to 09-07-2021 with the permission of the Junior

Accounts Officer, Government Pharmacy, Puducherry.

11. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender or all of them without assigning any

reason thereof. In case of any dispute, the decision of

the undersigned will be the final and binding.
