NOTIFICATION

The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to make the

following rules further to amend “The Puducherry Old Age Persons and

Destitutes Pension Rules, 2011 notified in G.O. Ms. No. 42/2011-Wel(SW-IV),

dated 23-12-2011 of the Chief Secretariat (Welfare), published in the

Gazette of Puducherry, Extraordinary Part-II No. 3, dated 02-01-2012,

namely:-

AMENDMENT

1. Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be

called “The Puducherry Old Age Persons and Destitutes Pension

(Amendment) Rules, 2021”.

(ii) It shall come into force in the Union territory of

Puducherry from the date of its notification in the Official Gazette.

2. In the said rule, in clause (1) of rule 7, for the words, symbols

and figures “` 1,500/2,000/3,000 per mensem”, the words, symbols and

figures “` 2,000/2,500/3,500 per mensem” shall be substituted.

2. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department

vide their I.D.No. 3358/FC/FD/F5/A2/2021-22, dated 20-07-2021.
