TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of old

condemned furniture, library books and other items of

the Government Primary Schools under the control of

Deputy Inspector of Schools, Zone-I, Puducherry,

in ‘as-is-where-is’ condition on 23-08-2021.

1. Government Primary School, Angalamman Nagar

(Stock stores in GMS, Vaithikuppam and BRC

Building, Angalamman Nagar).

2. Government Primary School, Muthialpet

3. Government Primary School, Pudupalayam

4. Government Primary School, Salai Street

5. Government Primary School, Navarkulam

2. Tenders in plain papers should be sealed and

addressed to the Deputy Inspector of Schools,

Directorate of School Education, Puducherry, duly

superscribing on the envelope as ‘Tender for purchase

of old condemned furniture, library books and other

items’ and sent to reach the undersigned on or before

23-08-2021 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders will be opened on

the same day at 3.30 p.m. in the presence of tenderers

who are present. The rates of the items for all Schools

should be quoted separately in one cover.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 5,000 (Rupees five thousand only) as earnest

money deposit by cash. The earnest money deposit of

the unsuccessful tenderers will be returned immediately

after the tender sale is over.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected.

5. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount and clear the items within 24 hours at his/her

own risk and cost, failing which the earnest money

deposit will be forfeited

6. The intending tenderers may inspect the

condemned furniture and other items during office

hours on any working day with prior permission of the

concerned Headmasters in the above Schools without

any disturbance to the students. The quantities and

qualities are in as-is-where-is condition.

7. No claim on the quality and quantity of the articles

will be admitted once the tender is finalized.

8. GST at the rate applicable will be charged.

9. In case of any dispute, the decision of undersigned

will be the final.

10. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all the tenders without assigning any

reason thereof.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for disposal of old/

condemned computers and electrical items belonging to:

1. Government Primary School, Muthialpet.

2. Government Primary School, Pethuchettipet.

under the control of the Deputy Inspector of Schools,

Zone-I, Puducherry, from the authorized e-waste

collection centre/recycler/dismantler (valid licence

holders) in ‘as-is-where-is’ condition.

2. The tenders in sealed covers should be addressed

to the Office of the Deputy Inspector of Schools, Zone-I,

Directorate of School Education, Puducherry, duly

superscribed on envelope as ‘Tender for e-waste

materials’ and to reach the undersigned on or before

23-08-2021. The tenders will be opened on the same day

at 4.15 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers or their

authorized representatives who are present at the time

of opening of tenders. If, the tender opening day

happens to be a public holiday, the same will be opened

on the next working day. The incomplete tenders are

liable for rejection.

3. The tenderer(s) should offer rate per kilogram in

the tender. The sale will be effected only to the highest

bidder. Public auction will be started from the highest

rate quoted by the tenderer(s).

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected. In the public auction, the

tenderers who have submitted sealed tenders only will

be allowed to participate.

5. The tenderer(s) should deposit an amount of

` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) as earnest money

deposit by cash.

6. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers/bidders will be refunded after the tender/

auction sale is completed/finalized.

7. The tenderer(s) (valid licence holders) can inspect

the old/condemned computers and electrical items

during the office hours with the permission.

8. The following self-attested photocopy of the

documents/certificates must be enclosed along with the

tender.

Valid GST/Sales Tax Certificate.

(ii)

PAN Card.

(iii)

Valid licence in connection with authorized

e-waste collection centre/recycler/dismantler.

(iv)

Exemption from GST, if any.

9. GST rate in force will be charged extra on the

amount finalized.

10. No claim about the quantity, quality and value of

the unserviceable, electrical and electronic items will be

admitted once the tender/auction is finalized.

11. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the

entire amount immediately and clear all the articles

within 24 hours at his/her own risk and cost, failing

which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited. The

tenderer should bring weighing scale/machine at his/her

own cost.

12. This office is not responsible for the safe custody

of the articles once auctioned.

13. The undersigned reserves the right either to

accept or reject any tender or all without assigning any

reason thereof. The decision of the undersigned will be

the final in case of any dispute.

Directorate of Stationery and Printing, Puducherry.
