Whereas, an Award in I.D. (T) No. 04/2020, dated

24-03-2021 of the Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court,

Puducherry, in respect of the industrial dispute

between the management of M/s. Puducherry Institute

of Medical Sciences, Kalapet, Puducherry, and the

Union workmen represented by PIMS Maruthuvamanai

Uzhiyargal Sangam (CITU), Mudaliarpet, Puducherry,

over charter of demands has been received;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred

by sub-section (1) of section 17 of the Industrial

Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV of 1947), read with

the Notification issued in Labour Department’s G.O. Ms.

No. 20/91/Lab./L, dated 23-5-1991, it is hereby directed

by the Secretary to Government (Labour) that the said

remained absent, no representation have been made on

his behalf, upon perusing the records, this Court

This Industrial Dispute arises out of the reference

made by the Government of Puducherry vide G.O.

Rt. No.142/AIL/Lab./T/2019, dated 30-12-2019 of the

Labour Department, Puducherry, to resolve the following

dispute between the petitioner and the respondent, viz.,–

(i) Whether the dispute raised by the Union

workmen represented by PIMS Maruthuvamanai

Uzhiyargal Sangam (CITU), Puducherry, against the

management of M/s. Puducherry Institute of Medical

Sciences, Kalapet, Puducherry, over charter of

demands such as to revise the wages by 50%

Annual Increment by 20% to encash the leave at

credit at the end of the year and other allowances,

etc., are justified or not? If justified, what relief the

Union workmen are entitled to?

(ii) To compute the relief if, any awarded in terms

of money if, it can be so computed?

2. Today, when the case came up for hearing, for

petitioner notice returned as ‘unclaimed’, already two

times the notices for petitioner returned as unclaimed,

hence, this reference is closed as petitioner not

appeared.

NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the Government is of the opinion that an

industrial dispute has arisen between the management

of M/s. India Nippon Electricals Limited, Nettapakkam

Commune, Puducherry and Indian National Engineering

Employees Union, India Nippon Electricals

Branch, Puducherry, over non-employment of

Thiru V. Sundararasu;

And whereas, in the opinion of the Government,

it is necessary to refer the said dispute for

adjudication;

Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority delegated

vide G.O. Ms. No. 20/91/Lab./L, dated 23-5-1991 of the

Labour Department, Puducherry, to exercise the powers

conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (1) of section 10

of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV

of 1947), it is hereby directed by the Secretary to

Government (Labour) that the said dispute be referred

to the Labour Court, Puducherry, for adjudication. The

Labour Court, Puducherry, shall submit the Award

within 3 months from the date of issue of reference as

stipulated under sub-section 2-A of section 10 of the

Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and in accordance with rule

10-B of the Industrial Disputes (Central) Rules,

1957. The party raising the dispute shall file a

statement of claim complete with relevant documents,

list of reliance and witnesses to the Labour Court,

Puducherry, within 15 days of the receipt of the order

of reference and also forward a copy of such statement

to each one of the opposite parties involved in the dispute.

TENDER-CUM-PUBLIC AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for offering highest rate per lot for sale of unserviceable/damaged, obsolete

furniture items of each School and rate per kg. for old Library books of the Schools working under the control of

Office of the Deputy Director of Education (Women), Puducherry, Directorate of School Education, Perunthalaivar

Kamaraj Centenary Building, Puducherry, in “as-is-where-is condition”.

2. The details of the Schools and its unserviceable/damaged, obsolete furniture items and old Library books

are furnished in the Annexure-I.

3. The tenders in sealed covers should be addressed to the Deputy Director of Education (Women), Puducherry,

duly sealed and superscribed on the envelope as "Tender for purchase of unserviceable/ damaged, obsolete furniture

items and old Library books" and to reach the undersigned on or before 01-09-2021 at 3.00 p.m. The received

tenders will be opened on the same day at 3.30 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers or their authorized representatives

who are present at the time of opening of tender. If, the tenders opening day happens to be a public holiday, the

same will be opened on the next working day.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will summarily be rejected. The tenderer who have submitted

tender in sealed cover only allowed to participate in the public auction.

5. The intending tenderer should deposit an amount of ` 2,000 (Rupees two thousand only) as earnest

money deposit. The earnest money deposit of unsuccessful tenderers will be returned immediately after the tender/

auction sale is over.

6. The tenderer can inspect the unserviceable/damaged, obsolete furniture items and old Library books

available in Schools during the office hours with the permission of the Headmaster/Headmistress from 10.00 a.m.

to 3.00 p.m. on 30-08-2021 and 31-08-2021.

7. If, the highest tender amount offered by the tenderer is found to be not acceptable, the public auction

will be conducted on the spot, keeping the highest tender amount as minimum bid amount.

8. No claim about the quantity, quality and value of the materials will be admitted once the tender/auction

is finalized. This office is not responsible for the safe custody of the articles once the tender/auction is over.

9.The tenderers should submit the following self-attested copies of the documents along with their tender.

i.e. (i) Valid GST Certificate (ii) PAN Card (iii) Aadhaar Card.

10. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the entire amount immediately and clear all articles within

24 hours at his/her own risk and cost, failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited, GST rate in force

will be charged extra on the amount finalized.

11. The undersigned reserves the right either to accept or reject any tender or all without assigning any

reason thereof. The decision of the undersigned is final in case of any dispute.
