NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred under rule 17 of the Pondicherry Village
and Commune Panchayat Councils (Conduct of Election of Chairman of Commune
Panchayat Councils and Presidents and Members of Village Panchayats) Rules, 1978
and rule 16A, 168 and 16C of the Pondicherry Village and Commune Panchayat
(Conduct of Election of Member of Commune Panchayat Councils and Presidents
and Members of Village Panchayats) Amendment Rules, 2004 and Notification
No. 56/2019/PPS-III, dated 15-03-2019 of the Election Commission of India and in
supersession of Notification No. SEC/1-6(P)/Civic Elec./2012/232, dated 10-10-2012
of the State Election Commission, hereby notifies.–
(a) In Table I, the list of National Parties and the respective symbols
reserved for them;
(b) In Table II, the list of State Parties and the respective symbols
reserved for them;
(c) In Table III, the list of registered unrecognized Political Parties;
(d) In Table IV, the list of free symbols for (a) Election of Members of
Commune Panchayat Council, (b) Election of Presidents of Village
Panchayats and (c) Election of Members of Village Panchayats.
