2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Principal, Government Industrial Training Institute for

Women, Thittacherry Road, T.R. Pattinam, Karaikal-609 606

on the envelope as “Tender for the purchase of old

newspapers (Tamil and English)” and sent to reach the

undersigned on or before 15-09-2021 by 3.30 p.m. The

tenders will be opened at 4.00 p.m. on the same day in

presence of the tenderers if any, by the undersigned.

3. The tenders received after the due date and time

will be rejected.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) as earnest money

deposit on the date of tender sale and the earnest

money deposit of unsuccessful tenderers will be

refunded immediately after the tender sale is over.

5. The intending tenderers may inspect the old

newspapers during the office hours on any working day

with the permission of the undersigned.

6. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount immediately along with GST @ 18% and clear

all the items sold within 24 hours at his/her own risk

and cost, failing which the earnest money deposit will

be forfeited into the Puducherry Government Account.

7. The successful tenderer will not be allowed to

avoid purchase of any portion of the old newspapers.

8. No claim on the quantity and quality of the newspapers

will be admitted once the tender sale is finalized.

9. The undersigned reserves every right to accept

or reject any tender or to postpone the tender sale

without assigning any reason thereof.

10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

11. The selected tenderer should make his own

arrangements to weigh the old newspapers.

12. Rate should be mentioned for each item

separately.
