In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5)

of section 12 of the Puducherry Technological University

Act, 2019 (Act No. 4 of 2020), the Lieutenant-Governor,

Puducherry, is pleased to constitute a “Selection

Committee” for the purpose of selection of first

2. The Committee shall draw its own method of

evaluation of candidates, but, the method should be

finalised prior to the date of closing for receipt of

applications from candidates.

3. The Committee shall draw the panel of names on

the order of merit from the applications received in

response to the notification of vacancy.

4. The Committee shall submit its recommendations

along with the relevant supporting documents to the

competent authority.

5. The Committee shall function within the ambit of

the Puducherry Technological University Act, 2019.

6. The Committee shall come in to force from the

date of its notification and will cease to function on

completion of the instant task assigned to it.

NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the Government is of the opinion that an

industrial dispute has arisen between the management

of M/s. Eaton Power Quality Private Limited, Sedarapet,

Puducherry and Thiru S. Ramesh, Villupuram District,

over non-employment;

And whereas, in the opinion of the Government, it is

necessary to refer the said dispute for adjudication;

Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority delegated

vide G.O. Ms. No. 20/91/Lab./L, dated 23-05-1991 of

the Labour Department, Puducherry, to exercise the

powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (1) of

section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central

Act XIV of 1947), it is hereby directed by Secretary to

Government (Labour) that the said dispute be referred

to the Labour Court, Puducherry, for adjudication. The

Labour Court, Puducherry, shall submit the Award within

3 months from the date of issue of reference as

stipulated under sub-section (2-A) of section 10 of the

Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and in accordance with

rule 10-B of the Industrial Disputes (Central)

Rules, 1957. The party raising the dispute shall file

a statement of claim complete with relevant documents,

list of reliance and witnesses to the Labour Court,

Puducherry, within 15 days of the receipt of the order

of reference and also forward a copy of such statement

to each one of the opposite parties involved in the dispute.

Thiru S. Ramesh, Villupuram District, against the
