NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 9A, 10 and 41, read
with section 38 of the Puducherry Village and Commune Panchayats Act,
1973 (No. 10 of 1973) and all other powers enabling the
Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, in this behalf and in partial
modification of the Puducherry Village and Commune Panchayats
(Conduct of Election of Members of Commune Panchayat Councils and
Presidents and Members of Village Panchayats) Rules, 1978, the
Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to make the following
amendments to the abovesaid rules, namely:-
