ORDER
Whereas, an order was made vide reference cited,
directing the winding up of the affairs of the following
five (5) Primary Co-operatives in the consumer sector at
Karaikal region (for brevity “the Society”);
(2) And whereas, consequent to the winding up of
the Society, a Liquidator is to be appointed under
sub-section (1) of section 127 of the Puducherry
Co-operative Societies Act, 1972 (for brevity “the Act”);
(3) And whereas, the financing Bank, viz., Pondicherry
State Co-operative Bank Limited, was consulted in
respect of the proposal of appointing a Liquidator for
the below Societies and the said Bank consented for
the said proposal.
(4) Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers
conferred on me under sub-section (1) of section 127
of the Puducherry Co-operative Societies Act, 1972,
read with clause (a) of rule 66 of the Puducherry
Co-operative Societies rules, 1973, I hereby appoint
Thiru P. Savarirajalu, Senior Inspector, Karaikal, as the
Liquidator of the following five Primary Co-operative
Societies in the consumer sector at Karaikal region.
1.
Kovilpathu Students Co-operartive Stores Limited,
No. P. 412.
2.
Karaikal Women Co-operative Tailoring Society
Limited, No. P. 566.
3.
Dr. Ambedkar Schedule Caste Educated Unemployed
Youth Co-operative Society Limited, No. P. 658.
4.
Karaikal Transport Co-operative Society Limited,
No. P. 692.
5.
Karaikal Pugazh Handicrafts Artisans Co-operative
Society Limited, No. P. 713.
(5) The President/Administrator of the Societies are
directed to handover the charges of their Societies
concerned to the said Liquidator. Charges of the
Societies handed over and taken over shall be informed
to this office.
(6) On taking over of charges of the Societies, the
said Liquidator shall arrange to discharge the liabilities
of the Societies subject to availability of funds from the
realizable assets of the Societies at the earliest possible.
On completion of the liquidation process, the said
Liquidator shall submit report to the undersigned to
make an order for the cancellation of registration of the
Societies under section 129 of the said Act.

NOTIFICATION
Under rule 7 (2)(a) of the Pondicherry Police Service
Rules, 2003, the Lieutenant-Governor, Union territory
of Puducherry, is pleased to appoint Thiru N. Selvam,
Inspector of Police, in the post of Pondicherry Police
Service (Entry Grade), on regular basis, notionally with
effect from 28-02-2020 onwards, as per the
recommendations of the Departmental Promotion
Committee held on 28-02-2020.
2. The above Officer is deemed to have been placed
on probation for a period of two years with effect from
28-02-2020.
3. The promotion of the Officer is subject to the
outcome of O.A. No. 310/00758/2019, pending in the
Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunal, Madras Bench,
Chennai.

NOTIFICATION
In pursuance of the Office Order No. 40611/1/2019-
IFS-I (AGMUT) (Part-I), dated 31-08-2021, of the
Ministry of the Environment, Forests and Climate
Change, New Delhi, Shri S. Dinesh Kannan, I.F.S.,
(AGMU:2005), Conservator of Forests, Puducherry, is
relieved from this Administration on the afternoon of
24-09-2021 to take up his new assignment in the
Government of Goa.
2. Tmt. R. Smitha, I.A.S., Secretary to Government
(Forests, Science, Technology and Environment) shall
hold charge as Director, Science, Technology and
Environment and Thiru A.S. Sivakumar, Transport
Commissioner shall hold charge as Managing Director,
PRTC, Puducherry on additional charge basis until
regular arrangements are made.
