NOTIFICATION
Whereas, an Award in I.D. (T) No. 02/2020, dated
18-08-2021 of the Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court,
Puducherry, in respect of the industrial dispute between
the management of M/s. Puducherry Institute of
Medical Sciences, Kalapet, Puducherry and the Union
workmen represented by Puducherry Institute of
Medical Sciences Thozhilalar Munnetra Sangam,
Puducherry, over charter of demands such as to revise
the wages by 50% Medical Allowance as ` 3,000;
to grant promotion to employees who have completed
10 years of service with an increment of ` 2,000 per year,
etc., Puducherry, has been received;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section (1) of section 17 of the Industrial
Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV of 1947), read with
the notification issued in Labour Department’s G.O. Ms.
No. 20/91/LAB/L, dated 23-05-1991, it is hereby directed
by the Secretary to Government (Labour), that the said
Award shall be published in the Official Gazette,
Puducherry.

This industrial dispute coming on this day before me
for hearing, in the presence of Thiru L. Sathish, Counsel
for the respondent, on record, the petitioner remained
absent, no representations have been made on his
behalf, upon perusing the records, this Court passed
the following:
AWARD
This Industrial Dispute arises out of the reference
made by the Government of Puducherry, vide G.O. Rt.
No. l37/AIL/LAB/T/2019, dated 19-12-2019 of the
Labour Department, Puducherry, to resolve the
following dispute between the petitioner and the
respondent, viz., -
(i) Whether the dispute raised by the Union
workmen represented by Puducherry Institute of
Medical Sciences Thozhilalar Munnetra Sangam,
Puducherry, against the management of M/s. Puducherry
Institute of Medical Sciences, Kalapet, Puducherry,
over charter of demands such as to revise the wages
by 50% Medical Allowance as ` 3,000; to grant
promotion to employees who have completed
10 years of service with an increment of ` 2,000 per
year, etc., are justified or not? If justified, what relief
the Union workmen are entitled to?
(ii) To compute the relief if any, awarded in terms
of money if, it can be so computed?
2. Today, when the case came up for hearing,
petitioner notice served. petitioner called absent. No
representation for the petitioner. The RPAD notice sent
to the Petitioner for the hearing date 03-02-2020 was
returned as refused. RPAD sent to the petitioner on
19-02-2020, 19-03-2020, 15-04-2021 were served.
Acknowledgment received. But, the petitioner not turned
up. Counsel for respondent present. The reference is
closed for the continuous non-appearance of the
petitioner.

Private Limited, Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady,
Puducherry and Indian National Trade Union Congress-
INTUC, Puducherry, over full and final settlement of
Tmt. K. Suguna has been received;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred

No. l25/AIL/LAB/T/2020, dated 12-11-2020 of the
Labour Department, Puducherry, to resolve the
following dispute between the Petitioner and the
Respondent, viz.,–
(i) Whether the dispute raised by Petitioner,
Indian National Trade Union Congress-INTUC,
Puducherry, against the management of M/s. Parsan
Polymers Private Limited, Industrial Estate,
Thattanchavady, Puducherry, over full and final
settlement of Tmt. K. Suguna is justified or not? If
justified, what relief Tmt. K. Suguna is entitled to?
(ii) To compute the relief if any, awarded in terms
of money if, it can be so computed?
2. Today, when the case came up for hearing,
Petitioner notice served. Petitioner not present.
Respondent side present. Petitioner not appear before
this Court despite service of notice for the third time.
Hence, the reference is closed for the non-appearance
of the petitioner.
