NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 13 of the

Puducherry Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1967 (Act 5 of 1967), the Lieutenant-Governor,

Puducherry, is pleased to make the following modification in the order issued vide

G.O. Ms. No. 17/Tr.Sectt./2020, 9th December 2020 of the Transport Secretariat,

Government of Puducherry, published in the Gazette of Puducherry, Extraordinary

Part-I, No. 179, dated 28th October 2020, namely:-

“After the words “shall not be entertained on COVID-19 reasons” the words

“till the end of financial year 2020-21 i.e., up to 31-03-2021. The effect of date of

stoppage for the applications for stoppage of vehicles received before 01-04-2021

shall be taken with effect from 01-04-2021 and received on or after 01-04-2021 shall

be taken with effect from the date of the submission of the applications.” shall be

inserted”.
