NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 13 of the

Puducherry Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1967 (Act 5 of 1967), and in continuation

to the G.O. Ms. No. 08/Tr.Sectt./2021, dated 05-07-2021 of the Transport Secretariat,

Puducherry, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to extend the time-limit

for the payment of Motor Vehicle Tax in respect of Transport Vehicles used or

kept for use in the Union territory of Puducherry as detailed below :

(i)

the time-limit for the payment of Motor Vehicle Tax (without penalty)

is extended up to 31-10-2021 for the Second Quarter of the financial

year 2021-2022 from the date of issue of this order.

(ii) the time-limit for the payment of Motor Vehicle Tax (without penalty)

is extended up to 31-12-2021 for the Third Quarter of the financial

year 2021-2022 i.e., from 01-10-2021 to 31-12-2021.
