NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1)

of section 4 of the Advocates’ Welfare Fund Act, 2001

(Central Act 45 of 2001), read with Notification in S.O.E.,

dated 25th October, 2001 of the Ministry of Home Affairs,

Government of India, New Delhi, and in supersession of

the G.O. Ms. No. 14/2008-LD, dated 2nd July 2008 of the

Law Department, Government of Puducherry and

published in the Official Gazette No. 30, dated 22nd July

2008, save in respect of things done or omitted to be done

before such supersession, the Lieutenant-Governor,

Puducherry, is pleased to reconstitute the Advocates’

Welfare Fund Trustee Committee, for the whole of the

Union territory of Puducherry, for the purposes of the said

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned for the

sale of condemned unserviceable articles belonging to

Government General Hospital, Yanam.

2. Tenders should be sent in sealed cover

superscribed as “Tender for the purchase of e-waste

unserviceable articles” addressed to the Deputy

Director, Government General Hospital, Yanam-533 464,

on or before 23-11-2021 at 3.00 p.m. and the tenders will

be opened on the same day at 4.00 p.m. in the presence

of the tenderers. In case, if, the prescribed date happens

to be a public holiday, the tenders will be opened on the

immediate next working day.

3. The intending tenderers should enclosed the

Bankers Cheque in favour of the Deputy Director,

Government General Hospital, Yanam, for an amount of

` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) along with their

tenders. The earnest money deposit of unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded after the tender sale is over.

The tenders without earnest money deposit will

summarily be rejected.

4. The tenders received after the due date and time

will not be entertained.

5. The rate should quote for single who has quoted

highest rate will be considered as successful bidder.

If, the highest rate quoted by the tenderer is not

satisfied by the undersigned, open auction will

conducted on the same day. In open auction, tenderers

who have submitted sealed tenderers will only be

allowed.

6. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the

entire amount soon after completion of tender/auction

including G.S.T/Sales tax as applicable under the rules

in force and shift the condemned unserviceable articles

immediately on same day before 5.00 p.m. from the

premises of the Government General Hospital, Yanam, at

his/her/their own cost and risk, failing which the Deputy

Director, Government General Hospital, Yanam, shall not

be the responsible for either safe custody, loss or

damage of the articles once the tender/auction is

finalized.

7. No claim about the quantity and quality of the

condemned articles will be admitted once the tender/

auction is finalised.

8. The intending tenderers/bidders can inspect the

condemned articles during hospital working hours with

prior permission of the concerned Head/Medical Officer

in-charge of the Government General Hospital, Yanam.

9. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender/auction in part or whole without

assigning any reason thereof. Tender/auction is subject

to discretion of the undersigned whose decision will be

the final in case of any dispute.

Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned for

sale of unserviceable items in a lot system belonging to

this Institution in “as-is-where-is” condition.

2. The intending tenderers may inspect the items at

the office of the undersigned from 23-11-2021 to

29-11-2021 with prior permission of the officer

concerned. Sale of Tender-Form can be had in person on

payment of ` 100 plus GST as admissible (non-refundable)

from 23-11-2021 to 30-11-2021 up to 12.00 noon.

3. Sealed tenders in the prescribed Tender-Form

addressed to the Registrar, Mahatma Gandhi

Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Puducherry,

superscribed as “Tender for sale of unserviceable

articles” should reach this office on or before 30-11-2021

by 12.30 p.m. Each tenderer shall encloce a Demand

Draft for an amount of ` 20,000 (Rupees twenty

thousand only) drawn in favour of the Dean, Mahatma

Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences,

Puducherry, as earnest money deposit.

4. Tenders will be opened on 30-11-2021 at 3.30 p.m.

in the conference hall of Administrative Block, 1st Floor

in the presence of the tenderers who are present at the

time of opening.

5. If, the highest tender amount offered by the

bidder/tenderer is found to be not acceptable by the

undersigned, the public auction will be conducted on

the spot, keeping the highest tender amount as

minimum bid value.

6. The following self-attested photocopy of the

documents/certificates must be enclosed along with

tenders-

(a) Valid GST Certificate

(b) PAN Card

Driving Licence.

Tenders without these certificates/documents will be

rejected.

7. Inviduals/partner of a firm who have/has been

punished under Criminal Procedure Code or any false

representation is found during the tender/auction

process, the tender/bid offered by her/him/them will be

cancelled and her/his/their earnest money deposit will

be forfeited.

8. If, any/all participant(s) misbehaves during the

tender/auction process, the tenderer(s)/bidder(s) will be

removed from the place of auction and also his/her/their

tender/auction will be rejected and the earnest money

deposit will be forfeited.

9. The earnest money deposit of the successful

tenderer/bidder will be adjusted against the sale

proceeds and the earnest money deposit of the

unsuccessful tenderers will be discharged/returned

immediately.

10. Other than tenderer/bidder or his authorized

person will not be admitted at the time of opening the

tender/auction.

11. Acceptance of the tender/auction will be

intimated to the successful tenderer/bidder after

finalization of the tender/auction. Successful tenderer/

bidder only will be allowed to clear/remove the

materials.

12. The Successful tenderer/bidder should pay the

cost of articles and make his/her own arrangement to

clear/remove the articles immediately. Otherwise, the

earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

13. The successful tenderer/bidder will pay the

applicable GST to the Bank and submit the challan to

this office, then only he/her is allowed to remove the

articles from this Institution.

14. This office will not be in any way held

responsible for the safe custody or any loss of the sold

articles. Once the tender/auction is finalised, no claim

on the quantity and quality of the materials will be

entertained.

15. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any

or all the tenders/bids without assigning any reason

thereof and the decision of the undersigned in this

regard will the be final and binding on all the tenders/

auction.
